Luke needs to be playing 80 minutes. Ndaira should be put into the halves and Merritt should be playing fullback, the moment he got into fullback they looked a different side. Whatever halves pairing they pick in the end they need to stick with it. You can't win games when you change halves every week.

Pretty poor performance all round but i can't help but think they could be so much better. There is some talent in that side but there is no cohesion between them. I can't help but think a lot of this falls back on the coach.

They lost Cusack Rigon Peachey Mellor Williams Galuvao Simmonds Webb Irvine and are the same team? lol.. Oh and Wing is Injured with Greenfield.

Peachey spent his last rounds in premier league
Williams sucks
Galuvao was playing in a different state
Simmonds was in premier league most of year along with Webb and Irvine

I'd say Norths lost more talent last year than Souths and they are still in a better position than Souths.

Jason Taylor has been making some idiotic decisions imo.

As soon as Wing got injured he should have given Eddie Paea the green light for the halfback's role for a sustained period of time. Instead he gave him one game, then replaced him with the worst halfback in the NRL in Jeremy Smith, before finally bringing him back to start against the Broncos, only to interchange him out of the game with 10 minutes to go, just after he had set up a try.

Have faith in your young talent Taylor ffs. How is the guy supposed to build confidence, and grow into the role when you show so little belief in his ability?

there was an incident last night i would like someone to clarify...

steve michaels injured himself and dropped the ball as soon as it happened... the medicab comes out clear him off the field and broncos get the ball back...

does anyone know the rule surrounding a decision like that?

cheers

should have been a souths scrum
the same thing definitely happened to the roosters earlier in the season (i think it was cutie's shoulder charge on anasta) resulting in a scrum for the other team

FYI, Michaels still had the ball when the tackle was completed, dropped it to then clutch his knee.

He didn't drop it when he was hit... if it was dropped as the tackle was still being completed, Souths would've received a scrum.

... and then would've knocked it on again :D

I was a bit worried whether anyone would get up me for flying that banner on ANZAC day...

Thanks for not jinxing, Mr Timmah. Hope it comes back to bite you on the arse next week though, would love to see Souths beat the cowboys!

I wouldn't,lol!

Even though Ennis is a grub - I have to say he's a pretty good player and agreed with the boys about going into the country side.
Probably will get a go next year...

Poor Michaels, that leg just looked like jelly after the tackle - I knew it was a torn ligament straight away.
Poor bloke would have hurt heaps.
