frustrating game. We had them. Should of won. But lapses of concentration at vital moment cost us, and the bad calls finished the job. Entertaining game. Furner's coaching was very strange. Probably the deciding factor imho.

well i thought it was a terrific game as a neutral ... although I did tip correctly :)

not sure if either team can make the finals, and also not sure if I would like every game to be that attacking and open ... but it was high excitement and thoroughly enjoyable

Chin up raiders fans ... you should make a mess of the chooks next week

Oink !

Your team reminded me of my team, we both suck though.
Still....not a bad show for a cripple fight

Collis was very very solid in defense. Two or three times he shut down really promising raids by the Raiders'. He didn't see much ball because we used the left hand side in attack all night.

Oh don't get me wrong. I wouldn't drop Collis based on that game. You're right he was awesome in D. I'm saying that based on the fact that I think he will be hurt. If he isn't then he definitely stays based solely on his D.

However, we may have been going to the left but Beau Ryan got a lot of ball. Even Hanbury who was on for five minutes made more running metres than Collis who was there for eighty.

Yeah he didn't receive open ball, but he didn't go looking for much either.

I think the heat hurt us a lot. I hope so anyway because we were so flat after the Tigers piled the pressure on it was like someone had sent one of Matt Elliots Raiders sides out there via a time machine.

The Tigers just killed us off with that period straight after half time.

I dunno about that fellas. I think there was far more skill shown in this game than in any other game all weekend (aside from the Rabbits). Both teams really played well. The refs made them look worse than they were. I think the Tigers and the Raiders are both going to worry a hell of a lot of sides this season. Damn I'd love to have Monaghan, Campese, Purtell, Thurling, Thompson and even Harrison! When the other forwards come back it will be a different side again. That will be scary.

Especially since they are gonna put fifty on the Roosters next week and then be in some hot form.

Are you f**king kidding me? Watch the game again you blind merkin. You clearly got the rub of the green.

The strip was a strip, clear as day. Put it this way - if a strip called against Turner in the second half was a strip, then this was the bloody full monty.

Tuiaki was CLEARLY held the first time he went down. CLEARLY. Open your f**king eyes you deadsh*t.

There were several knock-ons missed by the ref that lead to try-scoring opportunities for the Tigers.

Farah obstructed Terry Campese from getting to the ball that Payten scored from. BLATANT obstruction at that.

f**k me some people are biased.

guess what princess, we got the 2 points and you didnt.

yeah we got some good calls and i loved every one of them. made the victory so much sweeter.

its not my fault you go for a team of geniuss followed by the ugliest gayest army in the nrl.

tell your story walking cause at the end of the day it wont change the fact that your team LOST and my team WON

How do you know whether he called play on or not - Tuiaki pretty clearly looked at the ref to see whether he was to play it or not.

Because Tuiaki said that he didn't.

"I was expecting the referee to say held but I did not hear anything so I just got up and kept on playing," said Tuiaki.

Now, Tuiaki was well within his rights to keep going if the referee doesn't make the call. But the fact remains that the referee should have made the call.

I'll tell you one place the Raiders won, in the stands. Could hear the fans singing all game. The Tigers "fans" only piped up sporadically.

This game showed how important momentum is with the faster games, Canberra got on a huge roll, and the only thing that stopped them was halftime. THen in the second half we had the momentum, which allowed us to come through and beat them.

I think one team got belted by the ref in the 1st half and their was the get square in the second half. Maxwell was appling.

Both sides showed with a bit of polish could do okay this season if they keep the speed up in the play the ball. A draw would have been a good result

 Every game, you and R69 have to make some stupid claim about your fans out-chanting the opposition in the stands. Bet you're Sydney FC supporters too, chants are about the only thing you win

Poor Tigers fans, they have to go home knowing their team won. Bet they're devastated.

 I love being a spectator in any Tigers-Raiders debates. It's awesome.

Now, Skeepe. Seriously. Can you answer me these few questions. Please?

Do you ever, whenever the Raiders lose, say that the other team played well? Do you ever not blame the referee? Do you ever not say anything about the Raiders fans "outsinging" opposition fans at the game?

If you could give me an answer on those few points, I'd be eternally grateful. Ta.

If I believe they did, then of course.

Do you ever not blame the referee?

On the rare occasions their monumental blunders don't cost us, yes.

Do you ever not say anything about the Raiders fans "outsinging" opposition fans at the game?

This is the first time I've said it. You must be thinking of Raider_69 or one of the many other Raiders fans who continually show that they're the best supporters in the league.
