Tigers outclassed the Raiders.

The final two Canberra tries were flukey. Lucky bust with no time to go in the 1st half and a good finish. Good try I guess but lucky to get it in.

The one before was not a try, it was a joke. How the hell is Campese losing the ball into Moltzen's arm a strip? Ball Security much?

The Tigers were poor in attack yet put 34 points on Canberra who defended fairly well.

Imo, we're very underrated this year. Missing the top 8 will be a disappointment.

Tigers are a pro you are a deadset maniac if you believe that about those two tries. What the hell do you call the last two tigers tries but not a try and lucky.

yeaaa very solid performance ppfftt! campese put farah and marshall in his back pocket, the referee obviously on debut didnt knw what a complete tackle is. TUAKI WATEVA THE f**k HIS NAME IS THE f**kEN UGLY BEAST WAS TACKLED! once again robbed

f**k off you genius. You're 3rd try wasn't a strip, it was knock on and your last one was just plain lucky to be scored before the buzzer.

Oh and yeah, that wasn't a try obviously haha. I'd be pissed off as well mate.

Heck, even your first one to Carney was a tad lucky with a missed pass and the ball popping up nicely.

Campese is a great player, I'll level with you, but as if you can comment on the reffing. It was fair and down the middle, no complaints.

The Raiders fell apart in the last 20 minutes of the game. Had bearly any ball which effected them in attack. The Tigers defense improved in the 2nd half while the Raiders one got worst. I really don't know what we did in the off season but our defence outwide hasn't improved from last season.

That's the most disappointing thing. I had no confidence in our right-side defence every time the Tigers went left. Fix that up and we win very easily, even taking into account the fact we were up against 15 men.

62 points scored in total, and the losing side defended well? Our defence on the edges was terrible mate, I dont know what game you were watching

I think the Tigers have a lot of improvement in them. I saw on quite a few occasions, times when I know for a fact Shannon Gallant would have made a line break if he was there. Heighington had his arms free plenty and no one was supporting. I think if you put Gallant in the team the Tigers would have won by a bit more. Also when they get settled into their positions there will be no need for a player like Hanbury on the bench. What the hell was he and Trimarchi doing. Neither came on until the last 20, Hanbury didn't come on til the 75th when the game was sewn up. Not much faith in him from Sheens. For the short time Rocky was in there, he looked like he has a bit of heart. I hope to see more of him.

I don't know about Collis. Looked to injure himself again and Moltzen looked ginger after he scored that try too.

Next week I want the back five like this.

Gallant
Ryan
Lawrence
Moltzen
Tuiaki

and the bench to look like this

Trimarchi
Payten
Laurie
Galea

Halatau and Galea are able to cover in the centres should a back get injured.

Are you f**king kidding me? Watch the game again you blind merkin. You clearly got the rub of the green.

The strip was a strip, clear as day. Put it this way - if a strip called against Turner in the second half was a strip, then this was the bloody full monty.

Tuiaki was CLEARLY held the first time he went down. CLEARLY. Open your f**king eyes you deadsh*t.

There were several knock-ons missed by the ref that lead to try-scoring opportunities for the Tigers.

Farah obstructed Terry Campese from getting to the ball that Payten scored from. BLATANT obstruction at that.

f**k me some people are biased.

Grab a kleenex. The ref's were just as harsh to the Tigers. Cry your cry of defeat and see you later in the year ya big sook.

That is the pot calling the kettle black if ever I saw it. Almost as bad as Timmah calling out Manly on ruining a Doggies sponsorship deal.

Two referees, and neither spotted that Farah obstructed Campese when Payten went over.
Two referees, and neither spotted the Heighington knock on in a set that led to a try.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Tuiaki was held.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Moltzen knocked on before his length of the field try.
Two referees, and neither spotted that Ellis knocked the ball out of Thurling's hand before a regather should have meant a new set of 6.

Two referees... and we're still getting screwed.

Same sh*t, different season eh skeepe

Suck it up you skirt

Yeah, you were up against 15 men. Hanbury and Trimachi only came on in the last 10 minutes.

Honestly, have some grace in defeat. I'm not going to argue that we didn't get the best of the majority of line ball decisions. However, we absolutely dominated you in the second half. I think there's a strong possibility if Tuiaki had been penalised we still would have come out on top. There's certainly argument about the Heighington knock on and the Tuiaki try, but that's it. Payten's was an absolute fair try, as was Moltzen's. As for the Ellis knock down, how you can be so certain without a replay I don't know and besides, the match was over by that point anyway.

To be honest, I thought the Tuiaki try was as much a 50/50 call as the penalty against Farah that was followed by back to back Canberra tries.

EDIT: I think the above post by Insanneink is about all you deserved.

If Tuiaki's second try was sent upstairs and then discovered he was held what would happen. It's harsh to call it a penalty because the on field ref called play on, so would he just go back and play it from there?

Collis was very very solid in defense. Two or three times he shut down really promising raids by the Raiders'. He didn't see much ball because we used the left hand side in attack all night.

No, it's a penalty. Those are the laws of the game. The referee didn't call play on, he just didn't call him back. You could argue that they are one and the same, but they're not. It should have gone to the video without a doubt, and it would have correctly been ruled out if that were the case.

How do you know whether he called play on or not - Tuiaki pretty clearly looked at the ref to see whether he was to play it or not.

Yeah but it would be a penalty. I have sympathy for your point of view though. It would be a touch unfair when he was at the very least given tacit approval to keep going.

Still rules are rules as they say.
