Bulldogs would've absolutely destroyed both sides tonight.

Jamal Idris > Daine Laurie.

not a bad first half by either team in attack

tigers forwards look great, benji looks awesome at halfback leading the team around well
Farah as always looks dangerous out of dummy half
Ellis playing very well

A variation on that has been in practically every post you have made, you must really love that forward pack.

Wow what speed from Milne.

I must say, Canberra's backrow is deadly. Bronson Harrison is showing Tim Sheens that he's a great backrower and not a part time prop like Sheensey thought, but hells bells, how good is Trevor Thurling? He'd have to be close to Origin selection.

I also have been impressed with him recently, his recent form from last year and this year has been great. A roughie for origin no doubt.

I think the Tigers have a lot of improvement in them. I saw on quite a few occasions, times when I know for a fact Shannon Gallant would have made a line break if he was there. Heighington had his arms free plenty and no one was supporting. I think if you put Gallant in the team the Tigers would have won by a bit more. Also when they get settled into their positions there will be no need for a player like Hanbury on the bench. What the hell was he and Trimarchi doing. Neither came on until the last 20, Hanbury didn't come on til the 75th when the game was sewn up. Not much faith in him from Sheens. For the short time Rocky was in there, he looked like he has a bit of heart. I hope to see more of him.

I don't know about Collis. Looked to injure himself again and Moltzen looked ginger after he scored that try too.

Next week I want the back five like this.

Gallant
Ryan
Lawrence
Moltzen
Tuiaki

and the bench to look like this

Trimarchi
Payten
Laurie
Galea

Halatau and Galea are able to cover in the centres should a back get injured.

Faith is not a fact.

Any reason why Sheens doesnt go with a Benji-Moltzen halves paring.

Mind you Benji isnt a 7 and never will be.

Benji could have cost them the game late, great game to watch, defense was lacking but that'll come. Both sides look pretty good.

also. Tuiaki's try in the second half.

held maybe?

No maybe about it. How the two ref's, touchie and video ref all missed it is beyond me. It was the turning point in the game but in saying that, its hard to whinge about it since had mona's taken the ball cleanly or let it run dead like he should have, we don't put ourselves in the position of being at the mercy of rubbish refereeing.
I think it was a very even game. Both teams could lay claim to being the better side and deserving of the win. We had our chances and didn't take them. I think we've got a hell of a lot more improvement left in us then the tigers. But both sides looked the goods at times. All in all, whilst disappointed not to have 2 points i think we should have taken, there was plenty of positives to take from that game as a raiders fan. We'll be miles better with thomo having the run, tll back next week and herby over the flu.

If we fix that monaghan - carney side of defense we'll be tough to beat. Btw- justin carney is a f**king animal.

Tigers have way more room for improvement.

1. First half defence
2. Allowing too many offloads
3. Poor discipline
4. Benji can't play much worse than he did
5. Farah will get much better too
6. Ellis should improve also
7. Daine Laurie, if used effectively, also to add a lot to the side

Probably, but the Raiders should've made a better effort in making the tackle look complete, by that I mean someone should've dropped on him when he was on the ground, and made good contact, not just slid over the top of him.

Robert Finch has said that the referees got it wrong.

Gavin Badger said that, when reviewed, every single referee said it was wrong.

I never said he wasn't held, I said the Raiders players should've made it look more convincing, when you put a tackle in that's close to borderline, that can happen.
