I doubt it. Probably just a similar case to Terry Campese. Starting to buy into some of the hype and trying to play his hand more then he should be... causing him to be less effective then when he stuck to his own game.

Atleast in Origin they will have Peter Wallace beside them taking pressure of them. Terry Campese had better be able to settle into a second fiddle role easily. I want him to dominate the game when he gets the ball, but allow Peter Wallace to choose when that is.

I tell you what, the refereeing has been top notch tonight. More of this please from the boys in pink.

Piss poor game with a lot going against us (not talking about refereeing decisions).

Really disappointed with the scoreline.

Steve Simpson.. Club legend but gee I wouldn't be disappointed if he called it quits after this year.

 the dirty Knights sure can't take losing. Wicks on report for a deliberate elbow to O'Donnell's throat.

Gidley off the field and straight up the tunnel. Not good for NSW at all.
But is it just a safety precaution, or has he done some damage?

He has more then a week before Origin 1, so if it's nothing major i would expect him to play.

Geez I wrap the refs and they make a shocking call. Calls that the ball is out then penalizes Thurston for making a tackle before the ball came out.

Gidley has been injured since the run-in with Burns.

I don't know why you are making out as if it's just happened.

He's been way off his game - just like the rest of the team. Outplayed tonight, and here's hoping we bounce back next week.

I think your right, and I hope so. Ive always liked Mullen as a player and the knights have been a hard team to hate this year even for me, they've played a really good style of footy, similar to us last year.

Looks like the entire team were off tonight so hopefully Mullen takes some time, refocuses and gets back to playing his natural game. As i know with Campo, over playing your hand only digs you deeper into a hole

Fantastic result. I thought Thurston was a bit off his game, his kicking game in particular needs to be a lot better.

Mcmanus was absolutely woeful, Mullen had his worst game in a long time and Gidley was ordinary. For the Cowboys I thought Payne and O'Donnell were outstanding, but Carl Webb must be one of the dumbest footballers in the game.

I notice Timmah has been pretty quiet since giving me sh*t for suggesting the Cowboys would score a few tries.

I'm sure even through your bias Skeepe you can see Gidley wasn't 100% fit going into this game and it wasn't made better with Burns (I think it was him?) twisting his knee.

Fair call on Mullen/McManus though. We never, ever looked like we had our mind on the game.

Further indication that the NSW side should NEVER have been "announced" prior to the actual round finishing. McManus and Gidley found out they were in the side before the game started, as did Mullen find out he had missed out. IMO that was the reason for his ordinary game.

 WTF do you have to do with where and when I post?

I give you sh*t because you have an unhealthy obsession against Newcastle which borders on being a medical problem.

If you must know I haven't posted in this thread because it got boring and I have a few other things to do around LU than give you sh*t. Which I'll continue to do all year if I have to.

There's another thought... By rights Gidley should be cited for striking, but will he be now that NSW need him?

Why do people give Skeepe sh*t when Spike does the exact same sh*t in Raiders threads

Spike and Skeepe are great value and are actually twins each born in a separate universes. The Knights/Raider battle is going to be great.
