geez i love playing manly, a team I love to hate. Strange because I used to go for them for a year or so before I found out I was born in Canterbury hospital. No soft spots here though.

Bulldogs haven't been beaten by more than 8 all year I don't think, but if anyone's going to go 13+ on us I reckon a full strength Manly looking for revenge against our reserve grade front row might be a chance.

But form seems to count for a lot when these two meet, so I'll say Bulldogs by 4, 20-16. El Masri to score 16 of our points and be 1st try scorer.

Should be a great game and a lot closer than Round 1. Hopefully the dogs can knock up another win but Manly are starting to put some wins together and charge up the ladder.

I am still baffled as to why this is on a bloody Monday night. I would have liked to go but don't see myself getting there. Might have to stick to the pub and have a couple of cold ones

Still bloody 7 days away
should be a cracker, Brett is very close to playing I hear on the grapevine

that why i said manly at FULL strength;-)
we know what des is like, likes to keep sh*t under the radar.
the club will have the RL world expecting him to be back just before finals, but don't be surprised if brett is added to the team this week an hour before kick-off. if not this week, definitely next week!

Ditto... Not happy at all lol. I don't think to many Bulldog fans will be able to make the trek to Brooky on a monday night for a game that starts at 7PM. How good would Manly V Bulldogs be on sunday arvo at Brooky... Bloody Channel 9!

Even if Stewart is back this week or next he's coming back from a fairly serious injury. I'd be giving him a few weeks to find his feet before I'm expecting him to really start to shine. Granted he'll be an improve over what you've got playing fullback at the mo mo but don't go expecting what you had in the few weeks he played earlier this year.

This should be a good game. Tight one way or the other.

I thought that as well Effnic, but the signs seem to be getting better by the day

Apparently he is around training, with no strapping at all on the knee. Not sure what extent of work he is putting on it, and if he can change direction yet etc though

The initial report was 12-16 weeks if I remember correctly, and that was round 6 when he last played, so round 18 isn't too far off

This will see if Manly's recent form has been as good as people think it is.

I think Manly can win and will win by 8.
