Manly coach Des Hasler said a number of his players had the flu, however, he expected them to play on Monday night against the Bulldogs. Hasler said fullback Brett Stewart was no chance of making an early return from a knee injury.

I hate Monday night footy, but due the shifting fortunes of my work shcedule i knock off at 2pm monday and don't go in on tuesday. I don't think i've looked forward to a game this much since our round 1 clash - lets just hope it goes a bit different this time. Manly by 8.

In todays paper they said Stewart isn't even running yet. He's going for X-Rays in three weeks before they clear him and is no chance of returning in the next fortnight. Hopefully round 24 I believe they're targetting.
