Great win by the Bulldogs.

To think I heard a caller on radio last week suggest, they should rest some players (Stagg, Ryan, Patton, Roberts etc...) as they had no chance of winning!

Backing up after Monday night too.....top effort.

We feel you pain guys.

This team has regressed so much from 2008. Whilst we didn't make the GF, a case could be put forward that our club as a whole was one of the best, with the U20s making it as far as the first-graders did.

This season, I don't know where to start.

The season is more or less over.

Roosters will probably tip us over next weekend in what's quickly shaping as the wooden spoon fight.

The Warriors are a far better team than what they're currently showing. They had some strong points in the match today, but we weren't much better with Holdsworth running the ship. He was pretty dreadful at half back.

Holdsworth was solid, he did his job, yeh he made errors but so did most of our side, it was an ugly win but a win we will happily take

Winning with what was effectively our 2008 side shows me just how good a coach Kevvy Moore is. It also shows me we've got a lot to look forward to not just between now and September, but through the next few years. With the right motivation our younger and lower grade players really have the goods and will take plenty of confidence out of today.

VERY impressed :D

I really don't think the warriors have recovered from Sonny Fai's passing it was a tragic event and i see it affecting the warriors the same way Ben Alexanders death affected penrith unfortunatley.

Sorry...don't agree...if anything it would have galvanized them.

It all comes down to balance in the side and it is not there.

possibly a good point , he being so young i wouldnt thought that but maybe your right . I don't think the bulldogs can take much out of this game to be honest , the warriors were very very ordinary . stacy Jones should have stayed retired i think ,for the money he's on (>$200k ) the warriors could have done more .

agree to disagree penrith took years to become a force again after Alexanders death whats to say the warriors won't be the same.

I think the biggest mistake in Auckland has been the return of S Jones... back to the future rarely works, this is a case in point tbh...

lol Jimmy. I think we all are. What an absolute legend.

Apart from his defence, DJ gave me the sh*ts today. I can't wait to have kimmers back.

Your wrong there IMO , they could have an off week in the last round and then they only up to be up for 4 weeks, no team plays at their peak every week , so i completely disagree with you its just who peaks and has least injuries who normally come on strong at end of season

It's all about momentum leading into the finals, you don't want to be flat the week before the Finals start, and come up with a loss.

We've got the Warriors in Round 25 and Tigers in Round 26. We should be cruising

Then that will be winning form going into the Finals for you guys.
Ours is ok too....Rabbits and Parra.

Can't see Saints & Dogs missing the top 2 spots to be honest at this stage.
Alot depends on your match next week I guess against the Titans.

Warriors blow so hard it makes cyclones look like gentle breezes. Absolutely disgraceful against a half strength dogs side travelling overseas after a Monday night game.

Jones sucks. Legend of the game, but he plain sucks. Warriors make more tackle breaks than any other side in the comp, what they need is a halves pairing that can isolate defenders and get attackers one on one to utilise that advantage.

A decent kicking game wouldn't hurt either.

To make matters worse having Jones in the team means our defensive line is essentially a twelve man unit.

On top of that most of the team looked to have bulked up over the off season. Never a smart move. Their lack of fitness is showing and their concentration/coordination is being hampered because of it.

Off season = plenty of fitness training and the removal of Lillyman/Jones from the team roster. Wouldn't be upset if Luck joined them too.
