Fantastic game but omfg seriously is Darren Lockyer the most over-rated player in our game today?? Everytime he touched the ball even if he knocked on Matt Johns or Ikin would be like "OH WOW WHAT A FANTASTIC PLAYER, DID YOU SEE HOW HE TOOK THOSE 2 STEPS THEN SURRENDERED IN THE TACKLE, HE MEANT TO DO THAT WOW JUST WOW. Walice was 1000 times better than Lockyer tonight but the commentators hardly mentioned it.

Very true...but watch...you will now get slammed for criticising a "legend".

Ben Ikin is the worst commentator in the world. He says the most obvious comments that a 6 yr old would have noticed.

"They are really playing like a team with a plan"

No sh*t Sherlock. Give us something insightful for once.

ikin is bad....but the qld abc grandstand radio commentators are the most biased ever.

I had to laugh when he praised Cronks kicking game when Cronk hasnt forced a goal-line drop out in 7 years

Yeah I thought it was nauseating. It's like Billy Slater, Johns and Ikin would gladly play tic tac toe with him. Thanks again Billy for the World Cup mate !

A..hem. Ikin's a goose, one of his calls in the game was regarding Cronk and Wallace about something. "They're definitely the two best halfbacks in the game at it. Without a doubt they're in the top five..", which one is it? Definitely without a doubt top two? Or just in the top five?

Ikin is a totally over the top fan boy.

Agreed effie... Lockyer was rubbish last night in a good team - he dropped a few balls, gave away a couple of silly penalties and generally wasn't as commanding as the commentators make him out to be. I'd go as far to say that Inglis dominated him in the 5/8th department - as I believe it was Brisbane's defence and Melbourne's lack of discipline which gave us the result.

Broncos have been bloody lucky not to start the year with two losses. A one point win over the cows when O'Donnell had a fair try dissallowed (there was no way the defending player was going to get over to him). Having said that, the Cows played like crap and didnt deserve to win, but sometimes the best team doesnt win. Then this week with Gorrells knock on leading directly to a try in a 2 point win.

Anyway i flipped a coin and tipped the broncos in this one so i couldnt care less now, you'd think this luck would have to run out soon though.

You do know this game took place Friday night and isn't "upcoming"?

And people call you a wanker....

btw i didnt say the game was "upcoming", so theres no need for your quotations, since you're not quoting anyone.

Saab, i dont believe in fairies, and the Cowboys don't rely on luck.

The way you wrote seemed to imply this game was upcoming, no need for the nasty response.

"Flipped a coin and tipped Broncos here" sounded to me like he was making a tip... easy to confuse...

Actually, my flipping of the coin wasn't based on hating both teams (which i still do). I just couldnt decide, i knew it was going to be an extremely close game, just not sure which way.

Broncos had Hodges maybe in, maybe out.
Storm had a question over GI
Broncos at home, but Storm have a good record at Suncorp.
