So one player can beat the entire Tigers team:lol:. Come on, Benji has won a few games for you guys, he still couldn't do it without the rest of the team playing well.

yes Stewart scored 3 tries and was the only manly player who made a line break in the first game
tonight watmough scored 2 tries and seemed to be the only manly player being consistant

The Tigers defence won them the game. One point or forty....a wins a win.

Having said that......Manly still should have won. Unfortunately, Glen Hall ran himself when he should have passed to Stewart. Even then, when he was tackled a metre out....if the ball goes right, Manly have a 5 on 2 overlap.....

Now to be fair, the Tigers defence may have held in those two instances, but..... it doesn't matter now anyway.

The Tigers take the two points and Manly are still in the eight....moving on.

And to be fair, Beau Ryan dropped the ball with the line beckoning.

To be honest, was reasonably happy with the performance. Wouldn't have been nearly as close if Manly hadn't got away with murder in the play the ball.

Having said that, on Manly's last attacking play (when Orford through it over the sideline) Corey Payne was literally 5 metres offside. It was an absolute farce that he wasn't penalised - though I'm glad!

Great game, one of the best this season.

Manly were a better side but thats football. Tigers have been better and lost this year too. Tigers couldnt genunigly crack Manly and hardly made a linebreak all night, accept the 3 on the counter which lead to tries and 1 from Moltzen.

Another ten minutes of play and Manly win by 12. Good on them, theyll be there or abouts at the end.

And to anyone complaining about the refs then please. I much rather see that 5-4 penalty count and a little bit of leniancy than a ref blowing his whistle everytime a player holds down for a millisecond too long

Mate, surely you agree it's absurd to think a team could infringe 4 times in the first 7 minutes and then be perfect for the rest of the game? How can it have been turned around so quickly?

bah, lucky my arse.

We punished their mistakes and hung on. And if it was luck, we were owed a bit of luck, I still remember that f**king bounce at Brooky a couple of years ago that handed Manly the game.

How good is Watmough going. If he isn't the best forward playing at the moment I'm a dutch astronaut. If he had missed that game we win easily.

Was a great game of footy! The Tigers defence was excellent at times and at half time I was thinking to myself that I couldn't see Manly scoring at all.

Molzten and Gallant played very well and the forwards did their job.

Watmough was outstanding in a losing team. If he had support players they probably would have scored some more tries.

Nevertheless I thought the Tigers deserved to win the match.

p.s. David Williams is the modern-day Paul Carriage. What a f**king twit!:crazy::crazy::lol::lol:

What a brilliant game of football - congratulations to the Tigers for managing to hang on when everything was against you. You rode your luck - but sometimes you have to. Personally I'd like to give both sides 2 points for just making it such a great game to watch.

Does anyone know what the official attendance was? The atmosphere really came across on tv and made the game even more exciting.

Super entertaining game. Every minute was fun-packed. I was watching with two women who can barely maintain interest in games that don't involve the Dragons, and watching their reaction after Matt Orford's final pass went into touch was a blast. A mix of massive anti-climax, joy and contentment

What a finish, those length of the field tries came back to hurt us. One would think the top 4 is out of reach as well. Loss did not hurt as much as some, frustrating to come so close. Well done Tigers, that no 3 looks pretty promising.
He is,makes losing Collis alright,he seems to be able to break the line regulary, just needs Ryan to be in position and ready for the pass.
He just re-signed for 2 more years.
Manly were unlucky, should have snatched it at the end,but I will take it.
