Good to see the decisions evening up.
After that brawl it was also good to see the FIRST INFRINGEMENT penalised. Too often refs overlook the first infringement in a string of incidents.
Knights try, 30-14.
Actually you fruitcake, they missed the first infringement. The FIRST infringement was Rogers unleashing a vicious elbow that connected with Vidot's head. The elbow led to the push, which led to the disgraceful assault that should have ended Rogers' season on the spot. The fact that he got to come back on the field at all was a f**king disgrace, matched by the fact that the Knights were attacking the head all f**king night and getting away with it, matched by the fact that despite the constant cheap shots, high shots and spear tackles by the bunch of criminals wearing blue, the only player on report is a Raider who did absolutely nothing wrong.
So Timmah you oxygen thief, you have just done the very thing you so vehemently accuse the referees of doing, that is missing the first infringement. Love the way you just had to mention me in a thread that I really hadn't participated in as I was at the game though. Get the f**k over me mate. Seriously, it's getting beyond pathetic you pillock.
That was a great performance by the Raiders tonight. Shillington was absolutely fantastic, I laugh when I think the Roosters cut him to keep Mason and O'Meley because he contributed more in one game tonight than those two have all season.
Daniel Vidot is an absolute star. What he did in the first half was gobsmackingly amazing. I fully support his actions after he was the victim of GBH by that thug Ben Rogers, who is surely the biggest thug to play the game (although Isaac De Gois, with his uncanny knack of putting all his weight on a player's neck as he gets up to play the ball runs him a close second). Vidot did absolutely nothing wrong out there, and if he gets charged with anything it will be further proof that there is a conspiracy against the Raiders. Ben Rogers on the other hand, well he's lucky he's not looking at a gaol sentence. Launches a vicious elbow into the temple of a player who's not looking, and then a flurry of punches that could have broken Vidot's jaw. If Ben Rogers plays again before round 20 next year, then the NRL have absolutely no balls. A minimum 20 week suspension should be mandatory.
Josh Dugan was again fantastic, highlighting why he is far and away the rookie of the year. His attack continues to develop apace, but it's his defence that has him head and shoulders above anyone else to debut this year.
I would love to see these guys in the finals, and while we won't see it this year, I get the feeling that we won't be waiting very long at all.
