I honestly do not see why its bad to use your knee to defend yourself if some bloke is pounding your face off.

I mean kneeing someone in the head unprovoked is a bit of a dog act, but he was defending himself. If Rogers didn't want to be potentially kneed he shouldn't have punched him.
