What a shame manly won this game after a referee assisted penalty in the dying minutes. Something smells about this result.

What would the bookies have lost if the result went to the Sharkies???

The bookies would have won heaps if Manly had lost, and probably did anyway with the start betting.
I don't think there is any conspiracy, it's just the usual inept refereeing we see every week. I can't believe the number of massive f**k ups this year with two refs, it was supposed to make it easier for them.

Well the refs stole our 2 points and gave the to the titans earlier in the year, they just only now decided to pay it back. Thanks.

You would think Manly got all the penalties, it actually finished 8-8.
The send off was a really poor call, but other than that, the disgrace pretty much went both ways.
Covell's first try was dubious at best, the second try he lost the ball on he way down, did he have control, unlikely.
Gallen played at the ball form marker late in the match without a call from the officials, except knock on manly and even Gallen came away laughing!
Yeah i agree the officiating was very poor and the wrong team won.
But to carry on about conspiracy theories, etc is a bit far fetched.
THe referee's were disgraceful, and the wrong team won, but were they cheats - NO - just spastics.
And if Manly are the first or last team to win a game on a couple of bad calls, I will walk backwards around australia.
Teams like Souths and Canberra get screwed week in week out.

WOW!! Pretty much spot on with everything there. But come on you know most of the posters on this site love there conspiricy theorys.

Haven't bothered reading through the last ten pages but we were VERY lucky to get away with that one - not because of assistance from the refs or what other garbage people are coming up with, just that the Sharks completely outplayed us given they were a man down for most of the game. Although both of their tries only came from lucky drops off kicks, they busted their asses for 80 minutes whereas Manly never looked interested until the last two. Most people on the hill seemed to share the opinion that we didn't deserve that one, but we'll take it.
