Yeah, how dare McQueen react to getting cheap shotted after scoring a try?

And Ridders, Simpson is an absolute champion.

How was he cheap shotted, Simmo was diving across to try and stop him?

He didn't even lead with the knees as he's often loved doing in the past.

Simpson is a great role model off the field, is a very good winger and beat cancer twice.

I fail to see what's not to like..

If you start using off-the field qualities, there won't be too many players hated in the NRL. For example, i've had the pleasure of crossing paths with Corey Hughes on a couple of occasions and both times i met him he seemed like an awesome guy who was happy to engage the regular fan. Doesn't stop him from being one of the most hated players in the NRL.

Corey is one of my all time favourite players and made my life by playing his last year with the Sharks. Unfortunately the only down side was when we went to meet the players in Brisbane and Corey wasn't there.
