Lockyer is very overrated and rarely plays a great game anymore.

Hodges was great tonight and set up a beautiful try and then Sterling comments "and Lockyer puts his stamp on the game" lol...Hodges is underrated. He has easily been the best centre in the game consistently the last few years.

Both Prince and Thurston have been on a whole nother level to Lockyer the last few years and should be the Queensland halves.

6. Thurston
7. Prince

Not to stray too far into an origin selection debate, i have to dissagree with you here, Lockyer will (and should) be selected at 6 for QLD if fit. He might have been average so far but he doesnt need to stand out in origin, just compliment Thurston and Smith.

That plus the selecters would never dump the freaking captain no matter how bad they might be playing (and lockyer certainly isnt playing poorly, he is just having less involvement with Wallace stepping up)

I tried to tell you people the broncos struggle to score trys against the dragons

the last 7 games average was broncos 2-3 trys the dragons 3-4 trys

and the broncos home ground was like another home ground for the dragons its now 6-1

being an poor attacking side the dragons have a better for and against then the broncos

Yeah I know it's still early days, but given what I have seen tonight, Saints will definitely be challengers for the title.

I was wrong in saying no side would run away with it though, bit surprise the way dragons did

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH that was so freaking amazing!!!!

i dont think i've ever cheered like that during a game apart from Origin. it feels like we won Origin. aaaaah so so good.

whats that about our lack of attack? SUCK IT HATERS.

*dance of joy*

ps- is there anything greater than Big Dell scoring a try??

also SO happy for B.Moz.

Dell had a blinder. Roof nearly blew off when he scored. His antics added to the game.

He may be slightly slower and lack the fitness of past seasons, but he's benefiting alot from a lower centre of gravity.

He looks in good shape for 2009 and may regain his status as 'fan favorite'.

It's unlikely with Prior and Creagh performing so well, but is it worth giving Sailor a run in the 2nd row?

Wow.

Good effort Dragons, didnt think you had the halves to get it done. See another work-horse game by Matt Prior, he'll quickly become the coaches pet if he keeps that up.

Now after tomorrow night the mighty Storm should be back where we belong, on top of the ladder.

^ As much as they wanted to cause an upset for the first 70mins?

With that said it was interesting watching the Broncos play with luck and fortune going the other way. They responded rather flatly.

Just watching the game on fox.

WTF are the crowd doing booing Wendall. What a lack of class & respect, he doesnt deserve that from them.

I don't get it either. Despite being a Broncos supporter I was absolutely happy for Wendall when he touched down and his reaction made it all the worth while.

Haha the place i was at, everyone erupted when Wendell scored.

It was a good effort by the Dragons esp. Sowie who was excellent.

Now to back this up against the eels.

I don't care if you have 158k posts to your name ... you sir, have no clue

What is the deal with this fixture ... it must be a curse or something ... it just makes no sense at all that our record is this bad against the Dragons

Oink !

I think it's time us Broncos supporters just pencil in these games against the Dragons as a loss. Their defence and kicking game were outstanding. Attack-wise I reckon they still have a long way to go, but so long as they're keeping teams to 12 they'll do fine.

As for us, too much dropped ball and not enough ticker shown in cover defence. We'd drop the ball and let the Dragons run 20m before responding. Only changes I'd make would be to drop old man Devere and probably Teo too.

Glad someone didn't take the comments seriously, glad to see ghoulies understands sarcasm, where is saab ?

In all seriousness the margin Brisbane win by tonight will give everyone a sense of where they really are atm.
Give me a break Johnsy, with your history of posting nothing really surprises.
