wow! what a game, thought Wests were gone being down by 14; Benji shows us his well renowned side step and leads the Tigs to a famous victory, it's a shame we haven't seen it enough in recent times since his move to first receiver

we are known slow starters ,if anyone can find tigers first half points and than compare to there 2nd they will see the difference

we have now been down by 10 or more points in 3 of our 4 wins at home ,and we also come back big against penrith

this season is reminding me more and more of Balmain 1999 season :?

Lol, I'd take Farah over Senter, Marshall over Gillette, Lawrence over Webber, Moltzen over Nevin etc.

I'd be keen to have Buckets and Stimmo back though.

I heard a rumour that Lawrence is out with a hamstring injury - the selectors want him to be right for origin.

Just a rumour though - wait and see if he plays.

Obviously moot now, but if I were sheens with a 50/50 lawrence and a nsw selector gave me a buzz to say lets "just rest lawrence this game shall we, just to make sure he is right for nsw ok?" I'd tell him to go f*ck himself.

Top day.

Won all 3 grades, saw 186 points scored and was sitting metres from where Benji carved them up and kicked the winning goal in the second half.

Top day.

Seriously Tigers, stick the SFS/ANZ/anywhere but Campbelltown & Leichhardt right up your clackers.

It was good to see a lot of Knights supporters making the trip to Campbelltown. Not since Canterbury used to play out there have I seen so many away supporters.

As for the game itself, the Tigers benefited from a suspect forward pass call for the second week in a row! We also managed a few lucky penalties at the right time. On the other hand, the Tuiaki no-try appeared the wrong decision.

Benji kicked three out on the fall, conceded two penalties, missed tackles, missed a kick from near the posts, set up four tries, kicked two from the sideline and secured a few repeat sets. All in all a typical Marshall performance.

absolutely robbed blind by that fcucking crunt of a ref.

just got home and still filthy.

as an aside, never been to Campbelltown before. what a dead-set ghetto. Tigers fans were pretty good though, don't really hang shyt on other team's fans, which is a nice change.

Off that forward pass, or in general? If you mean the forward pass then ome on, there was absolutely no guarantee you were going to score off the play. The Tiger's defensive line had clearly heard the call.

I can see how he got the wrong call, it definitely looked forward on first viewing. Only on the second viewing did one realise he had run backward after throwing the ball.

In the first half we couldn't buy a penalty and I was thinking sh*t, we're playing the perfect Panthers all over again. However, in the second half we received 3 fortuitous penalties while deep in our own half and late in the tackle count. Robbo's dodgy forward pass call was the first time in 4-5 years that we've received a favourable call from that prick.

Tigers seem to be clicking lately, really thought the Knights would take this after their win over the Dragons.

huh? it was four on one. we were going to score no sweat. I was in line with it, there is no way in the world we weren't going to score.

second half the ref raped us, no question. injuries didn't help, but that one is ultimately down to the pink merkin.

(and yes, I hate it when people blame the ref for a loss.... but in this instance it is 100% justified.)

4 on one? Are you sure about that? I could have sworn there were at least two passes after the forward one before a Knight was in the clear and that was with most of the defense halting. I'll have to get another look at in on replay.

Even if you are right, I think robbed is a pretty big call. Pretty damn even match and we didn't get much luck from the ref in the first half. Farah caught the markers out on numerous occasions with no luck.

If anything it was injuries that ruined you.

You fail to mention the 6-1 penalty count in the first half and the Tuiaki no-try. Look, the forward pass was a shocker but I'd be more concerned by the Knights' fading performance in the second half. The team were exceptional in the first half running into the breeze and really ought to have won by 30. Brian Smith said as much in the post match interview.

Oh btw Tuiaki, Moltzen and Lawrence stopped running immediately. It was only Todd Payten in pursuit of the Newcastle player.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Tigers win this one. I'll probably tip us (unlike last week :p), but I just think there is the danger of us having a let down after getting ourselves up for the Dragons last week. The whole Monday Night Football thing may play a role, although the Tigers will have the "usual" 6-day turnaround. Either way, I don't think either side will run away with it.

*sigh* Why did we let Benji run riot? :(

Good game, a few dodgy decisions going against both sides (Tuiaki's "held-up" and the "forward pass" by the Knights at the end). But I suppose it's swings and roundabouts. Benji is a freak and must have had funnel-webs on him. Good luck Tigers fans for the rest of the year (the ones who weren't the bogans giving us a hard time walking out of the ground).

i was right in line with it too. i heard the whistle, as did the four tigers defenders who stopped. the knights kept playing for two passes. i dont think they would have even got to the second pass, the play more then likely would have been shut down. i guess we'll never know.....

btw pass was not forward, however it made up for the tuiaki no try, that gets given BOTD 99 times out of 100
