Just saw the replay...Creagh was clearly off-side.
the offside didnt lose you guys the game, the endless drop balls did.
Wasn't last minute and probably a square up for when hornby was called offside when he clearly wasn't.

Thats what they get paid for, to make tough decisions in tough situations. That's the thing - the referees have a lot of pressure on them, they would have been lynched by the WIN Stadium faithful had they awarded the penalty at the end

How would that be a square up? Dragons knocked on anyway. It didn't cost you a chance at points, this one did.
No doubt about it, the Warriors handling was awful. But there's also no doubt whatsoever that Creagh is offside, it should have been ruled as such for a shot from right out in front. The referees though in this day and age are not brave enough to blow penalties when the game is on the line. Unless it's clear cut, from minutes 76 onwards in a tight tussle you might as well play 2-3 metres offside because you simply will not be called. You can also slow the ruck down too, and interfere, as was the case in the previous game in Melbourne in golden point. Referees don't want to get booed out of the crowd, who can blame them?
ask steven clarke he know's all about that..
the refs made a few errors throughout the game, if we go back on all of them it would be a different game, but its not.
Its not like it was a grand final and your team was cutting all the opposition to shreds throughout the year, only to be given a controvesial penalty against them in the dying moments of the game, to promote a nobody team to a state full of inbred afl lovers.
