Not really going out on limb there though are you, you cant see the bottom of the ladder team making the eight.
If the cowboys won that game easily and didnt rely on thurston, i would give them a chance.

LOL I love how Dragons fans think that saying the Cowboys won't make the 8 is supposed to validate their loss...
'Well....you're not going to make the 8....yeah!'.

Um...hello top of the ladder team beat by a team not going to make the 8:/
And before any of you EVEN sprout what you'll say next, remember the Storm game last year.

The lost didnt really worry me, Thurston scoring 3 trys when the dragons knew he was the cowboys go to man disappointed me a bit, but have to give credit to thurston, the cowboys still should have won by more wiht 58% to 42% of possession against an team what was missing players and had some backing up the night before.

That the point i was trying to make if they want to be conisdered a threat

Mate the fact they scored 1 try while camped on our line in the opening 12 minutes of the second half doesn't go well for them.
The next try to Thurston was a lovely gridiron play by Tonga.

Let them have their moment, we'll see them in a few weeks down at Wollongong with our players back in and not backing up from the night before and travelling 2000km's to get there in 24 hours.

Payback will be sweet as in 5 weeks time.
We wont forget their smurking faces and smiles.

Fair call,it was a disrupted preperation, and losing players with others backing up,I think at the Gong it will be a comfortable dragons win.

The Tonga pass to Thurston was fine, flat at worst.

You dragon fans should be more p!ssed at your own teams crap ball handling than blaming the refs and the NRL scheduling.

Yes smurking after a win is really getting out of control in the modern game, time somebody rubbed that out of the contest for good....

I thought it was an entertaining game of footy.

The Dragons were very fortunate in the first half to receive the amount of possesion they did which was always destined to turn around. Thurston was undoubtably man of the match BUT I thought the Cowboys forward pack was the difference between the two sides and they put in a great effort.

I'd also like to give a shout-out to Carl Webb who put forward his best game of the season. I know it isn't saying much, but it was nice to see glimpses of his true potential. I also thought Tonga was great in defence out wide.

If I was a Dragons supporter, I would've been proud of my boys effort last night. They had no right to stay in the contest as long as they did and really it all came down to one last pass which really shows how passionate and talented they are.

Mate the smurking and pats on the head after a mistake was made will come back to bite you.
Laugh and smurk after the game all you want.
As I said, enjoy it now, cause we get you again in 5 weeks at Wollongong.

You should look a little closer at that pass.

And your handling was worse than ours.
It's just that everytime you dropped the ball in the second half we got penalised for you blokes dropping it.
Amazing turnaround in both sides discipline in the second half.

How in God's name Tonga's "offload" to Thurston wasn't ruled forward I'll never know. Laughable stuff.

Smurking, seriously you are pissed about smurking?

A bottom of the ladder team beats the competition front runners and you what, apologies?

Interesting that your take seems to be that the Cowboys were "definitely" ill disciplined and deserved all there penalties in the first half, but the ref evened it up in the second, you don't think that comes across as a little bit of a one eyed view?

They Cowboys were the favourites. And they are hardly bottom of the ladder.

They have been bottom of the ladder all year. The Dragons have been top of the ladder.

But still I suppose we smirk, so we have deserved out lowly position.

I really enjoyed the win.. but what has really topped it off is the crying & excuses being shown by the dragqueen fans.

LOL Thommo you're a prime example of why the rest of the club's fans think Dragons fans are a joke.
So...where was this arrogance last year?

Dragons LOST, deal with it!

I've dealt with it.
Nobody likes a smug prick.
Look at the sh*t Gallen cops for being so smug all the time....Thurston is no better and I can't wait for him and his team to come to our turf and cop it.
5 weeks and counting.

Laugh away all you want mate, I don't know who you support, but I bet you wouldn't fancy your side getting the crap decisions we copped last night.

And on a side note, well done to John Cartwright for telling it how it is about the ref's today. About time somebody did.
Would Cartwright be called a joke also for having a go at the refs?

I said smurking and taunting our players.
Congrats to a full strength Cowboys beating half of our first grade side.

As I said, we'll see you in 5 weeks time.
