Pretty top notch game of footy I thought, very much played like a semi final. Unfortunately for the Roosters that's 3 unlucky losses in a row that could have gone either way. Brilliant football is being ruined by unforced errors at crucial times.

Roosters looked to be the better side for the large part of the match - 2 woeful mistakes by Perrett, one in each half handed Titans the match. Firstly the pass to no one after the intercept, why does this happen so often to us? No patience. Titans do the same thing, take the tackle and score 10 seconds later. Second error which gave Titans a try and all the momentem, he drops it cold in front of our own line. Not your best night Sammy.

I wasn't that impressed with the quality of play. Roosters running sideways and the Titans did enough to get over the line.

The battle of the 7's was the highlight though. Pearce played very well as did Prince.

Not a chance in hell. From the 10th minute Easts were rubbish. Early in the second half there were sets of 6 where not one forward took a hit up. The old heart muscle took a strain tonight.

Meh, Titans had set after set after set on our goal line and only scored flukish tries. It was a close grinding game and imo until the Perret mistake Easts looked more likely to take it.

As for our forwards, they really do need more involvement. Its a game plan thing (i expect), our wingers do the majority of the work out of our own 40.

It is piss weak that multiple times our forwards go an entire set without touching the ball. I can understand the thought behind it but darting across field 15 metres and only gaining 2 does nothing.

There was one 20m restart where we tap the ball and float a short pass to Anasta to floats a short pass to Kennedy or Ryles who get smashed making a grand total of 1 metre.

I think the issue is teams now know its coming, last night the Titans defense was excellent at dominating Perrett and Mino in the first 2 tackles, which set up our whole defensive set.

The plan you use depends on a quick play the ball, but you need to have a good plan B, like as you suggest good old fashion hard straight running by some big guys.

Roosters are a good side, i am very happy with the win, because it was in the balance for a long time.
