Thanks to Dave 'Supercoach' Furner naming the worlds worst hooker in Alan Tongue - whilst naming a very capable specialist rake on the bench - to start, we're cooked.

Massive game. My heart wants the Raiders to throw a spanner in the works and knock off the Dragons, even though my head says the Dragons should just be a little too good.

My first time going to a game in Canberra. Can't wait. I hope we win or it's gonna be a long bus ride home.

How does this game, get the 2 morons who have been allocated to referee it?

I'm not sure how the 2 clowns named to ref this match, get to do one together. Is Cecchin considered a senior ref these days?

Cecchin has been around a fair while now. Longer than I thought anyhow. I think he goes okay, especially compared to spastics like TDLH. I do agree that for a match that has a lot going for it, you would have thought we could have landed one of Archer, Hayne or Maxwell.

The Dragons have to break the hoodoo eventually and I’m tipping it will be this week

This is going to be an absolute cracker, I couldn't be any more confident of the Raiders winning. I'll be putting a pineapple on Raiders 1-12, and I'm already spending the winnings.

I'd be too ecstatic to care, however against you guys that's very unlikely, the Dragons defence is too good for a 13+ usually - then again, funny things can happen in rugby league so you never know.

A hoodoo is a hoodoo thats for certain.
Unsure whether Saints can break this one right now, in any case it matters little, just forget about the past record and all of that sh*t, get the f**k out there and win the game.
If the Raiders can get a roll on and get an early lead they'd be hard to reel back in unless their sh*t really falls apart.
If Saints can stoutly defend and score a few tries and stop Canberra doing the same they will win.

Given that scenario two seems more likely, I'll tip a Saints win against my usual thoughts of "Canberra, we can't seem to beat them".

im not as confident about a win. Every lose brings them closer to a win
we've had their measure for a while and conjured wins when we havent really needed them, i guess if ever the hoodoo was going to be broken, this would be the worst time for it to happen for us, as it would end our season and tbh, if we can beat them on sunday and scrap into the 8 and face them full of confidence with 8 wins in our last 9, and the wood on Saints... im daring to dream of something special for the raiders

huge huge game. Im really unsure of weather we'll win. Saints are the top team in the comp for a reason but we've got it all to play for and home ground advantage plus a psychological advantage. We gave the NRL the blue print to beating saints last year, they will be ready for us this time, and Sir Bennett will have them primed not to let us show them up again.

This is potentially game of the year. Its always a great game between these two anyways, but with so much on the line... huge game
