Little bit touchy tonight aren't we.
Convincing response.

To answer, yes - I've watched a bunch of blokes play like spastics for 80 minutes in a game that is supposed to feature the best of the best.

Shouldn't you be off sniffing Thaidays untamed hair or something? Go f**king celebrate history.

QLD absolutely DOMINATED last night. It wasn't even close. The scoreline should of been much bigger. The try they pulled back for the forward pass wasn't forward.

Mitchell Pearce was a complete ghost out on the field. You can say the forwards didn't lay the platform all you like but I didn't seem him once put his hand up and try and create something or get involved. He's so overrated it's crazy.

Jarryd Hayne is a big game talker, but certainly goes missing.

There's a few players in the NSW team I hope are never picked again. They were garbage and have done ZERO in any game they've been picked.

to be fair hayne was playing out of position in a rep game, he always been a winger

he shouldnt have been fullback

and pearce has never dominated a good halfback why would people think pearce would do anything in a game like this.

Pearce is only a KICKER , people were foolish to claim pearce was an attacking halfback

absolutely - the changes need to be sweeping and complete right from the selctors, the coach and the 17 players. These players only know one word, FAILURE, so why reward them. Get a fresh 17 who one know one word, WINNING and start from there

I agree. Shouldn't have gone to the bloke most dangerous in attack, with a hand in every try. Probably should have gone to the bloke who kicked out on the full twice in a row.

Gee some of you Broncos fans are precious.

Mate you have some serious malfunctions. The comment about Hayne is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. He is a fullback for his club therefore playing for NSW at fullback is his correct position regardless of whether he has played reps there before. Tell me, how many games would it take for him to no longer be “out of position”?

Regarding Pearce, that is the exact attitude that has NSW in this mess, no loyalty what so ever to the younger players. Campese, Pearce, Mullen, Wallace all dropped after 1 or 2 games of losing where as QLD kept 8 players from a side that lost 3 series on the trot and look what they sparkled into.

Pearce was far form the worst for NSW last night, what can he do when the team has 26 sets with 10 errors (none of which were made by him)? They had a full set in the QLD 20 maybe twice in the match and he set up a try. His defence was solid with Thaiday running at him all night and yes Cronk did get past him to score but the game was long gone by then.

Add on to all that the fact that Andrew Johns basically ruined any chance of NSW winning, the game was in QLD and QLD were shooting for 5 straight, the result probably would have been the same no matter who was there.

As for you referring to him as “just a kicker”, I think you have him confused with Jamie Soward! Pearce tried to attack the line on 4 or 5 occasions and got smashed every time because the forwards couldn’t lay a platform and gain any type of momentum.

NSW need to keep him there, they also need to pick a young 5/8 (mullen, Campese, Soward… I don’t care!!!) and have a bit of faith in them and give them first chance next year!!

Yeah what a great idea!!! So when this new batch of 17 players lose in game 3 we can choose another 17 players for game 1 next year and when they lose that we can choose “a best of” team from the NSW cup due to our best 60 players being “losers”.

Again that is the exact attitude that has us in this mess. Certain changes need to be made but they have to be aimed at the future. Keep Pearce in, put 2 of Campese/Mullen/Mortimor/Soward/Hodgkinson/Carney/Sutton in (1 as utility) and STICK with them for a good 3 games at minimum.

I do agree with you that NSW has a culture of failure around it atm but this lies with Bellamy and Gidley more than anyone else.

Get Dugan in there NOW (even if it is on the wing), clearly the best prospect NSW has at the moment.

The selectors need to be fired and the new selectors need to recognise that we will lose game 3 and probably the next 2 series but they need to start building a young side NOW and results will show eventually instead of this “let’s drop a player for 1 loss” attitude!!!

Because he plays at fullback for his club doesnt mean he will be good at representative level.

Most people know
Hayne is a poor defender and reader of play, reason why he is good at the eels due to his attack and he is basically the eels attack.

He has been a success on the wing in representative level .

Club and representative games are played differently

By playing him at fullback in a representative game where never played before is out of position for him. IN game 2 was a risk imo

Maybe if they wanted him at fullback he should have been tried in the dead rubber

Can't fault Pearce. Did his best in the circumstances.

The entire 1-5 were f**ked. Dragons players are f**ked. The coach is f**ked. And Gidley dead set has to be missing chromosomes or something.

Put on our only try for a start.

Fed the spastic Dragons backs decent ball so they could bomb it repeatedly.

Wow, laid on a try with a minute left at 34 - 0, thank god he was there!

Must hurt you haters seeing us on top of the table every week.

Love it.
