Luke Lewis is extremely doubtful.

Our chances just got better.

He will play. He did what he had to at training. Broke in to a light jog etc just didn't run but wasn't asked to so maybe he could of if he had to.

Remember he was giving himself until Thurs at the latest or he was pulling out. So maybe he can play but they won't train and wreck it

For mine this will be a high-scoring game. Panthers to get out to a size-able early lead, only for the Raiders to come back in the second-half.

Panthers 32
Raiders 26

MoM: Pritchard

I give the Raiders are good chance of springing the upset because Penrith aren't going that great...but I think that - much like the Canterbury/Newcastle clash last season - that the #2 will sneak home without setting the world on fire. Still, it's been an amazing turnaround from the Raiders to win 8 of the last 9.

Panther's backline looks terrible without Coote. Worst backline in the top8

:?

Its quite funny that we've scored 111 tries, easily the most of the top 8 sides, scored 50+ in our last 2 home games and yet still people talk about Penrith as if we're lucky to be in the top 8, little own 2nd. You'd swear that we were still wearing brown and white and Greg Alexander was yet to even make his debut. Do people have something against Penrith? perhaps they just don't like the area or the people.

It is interesting that we have scored more points than any other side in the NRL during the regular season, approximately 60 more the Bunnies who didnt even make the top eight but there remain doubts about our credentials. Our defence is also much maligned but there were only three sides with a better defensive record.

I would admit I too have my doubts and I support the Panthers.

As I have said before this is a 50-50 contest and sadly the officials may determine the outcome. Field position is everything and those penalties on the fourth and fifth tackle coming out of your defensive zone could be critical in this game.

The Raiders have been 'up' for a long time and this may be there undoing. It is hard to maintain a streak such as they have enjoyed winning 8 from 9. They are due an 'off' day.

I have no idea who will finish on top in this one and I suspect no else does either. May the best team on the night win and hopefully it is not decided by the on field official or video ref.

Raiders didnt play well last week , Furner even said they were flat the whole week proir to the Broncos game. That was their off day.

The raiders will be switched on for this game. The panthers will need to be as well.

it should be a cracker of a game

Seriously would Purtell, Earl and Tighe be in any other top 8 teams backline???? i doubt it!
Rooster's didnt have the greatest backline in the early 00's when they were killing it so im not saying they are a bad team they just have a f**king woeful backline. Pritchard and Lewis have probably scored more tries then Purts and Tighe

Shows how much you know. Brad Tighe's been very good this year. He's scored 10 tries and is generally much better than the past 2 years. Purtell is a defensive liability in the centres, less so on the wing but even he's scored 7 tries. I'd pay Purtell as making us look weak but he's still only 1 player. Earl's a rookie and he hasn't done much wrong yet.

111 tries and by far the most points. Pretty amazing to do that with a 'woeful backline'. Give yourself a triple

Too many people are underestimating penrith here for mine....they don't score so many tries, and finish second, without being good.

Gonna be a cracking game, that could go either way

Agree. The key to this game is Pritchard. Across the park both teams are pretty even, if this bloke fires up like he did last week then we might be in trouble. That said Pritchard very rarely plays two outstanding games in a row.
