Can meet the Tigers, but can't meet the Panthers.
Teams 1 & 2 can't meet before the G.F.

Nope as the Tigers will be positioned in Semi Final 2 regardless of their result provided we win, which runs into the Grand Final Qualifier which doesnt involve us

Well if that's the case, we wont be playing Penrith or the Tigers before the Grand Final.

The Dragons will be at full strength and have no excuse to lose this game against a side missing a ton of experience and class.

If the Dragons do lose, I'll be betting everything I have on them losing the second week regardless of who they play, should they even bother.

If the panthers lose , tigers and raiders will be on the dragons side, so the winner of that will be playing the dragons in the prem final

if panthers win , tigers will be on the panthers side

Panthers and the dragons cant meet in the prem final , no matter the result in week 1

No mate, under the McIntyre system teams 1 & 2 definitely can not meet before the Grand Final.
Saints can not play Penrith before the GF, should they both get that far.

Yes, i didnt make the point clear , i was talking about the tigers

i made a mistake though if the tigers win and panthers lose ,
tigers wont be on the dragons side
, if the panthers lose and tigers lose , the tigers will be on the dragons side

I know the panthers will always be on the opposite side to the dragons

Yeah that's how I thought it was also.
Tigers and Saints can meet before the GF.

If Canberra keep winning, Saints and Canberra can not avoid each other before the Grand Final.

If Canberra win they become Winner 4, assuming Saints beat Manly.
Saints would go to week 3, Canberra would play 2nd highest ranking loser for the right to play us in week 3.

I picked Bulldogs would beat Manly and would play Dragons in week 1. With all Manlys injuries and suspensions this is gonna be one very ugly scoreline not worth watching especially in the 2nd half. Dragons by 40+

I certainly don't think we'll beat you by 40.
The match will be extremely close. Manly still have a lot of quality players in their side.
I'll be praying for just a 1 point victory, that will do me fine.

Looks like we will have to wait until the prelim final for the Dragons choke this year.

Dragons by 30

Would be interesting if both teams were fully fit, as Manly are well known for their poor second halves, but we also ahve a bit of a second half problem. Of the 299 points we've conceded this year, 96 have come in the first half, and 202 in the second (and 1 in golden point). The last 3 weeks have exacerbated that a bit, but there was still a clear difference prior to that. Essentially, if you're gonna get us, you have to be patient. Would have been interesting to see how that matched up against Manly's second half impotence.

Matai gone for 7 weeks, King 1 week. 9 and 2 respectively if they challenge and lose.

Bailey escapes suspension with an early plea, as does Beau Scott who wasn't charged.

Plenty of injuries too, they're in trouble Manly.

You haven't seen any official word from Manly yet about their injuries have you mate?

Watmough, Lyon, Kite, Foran, Ballin, Galuvao all in doubt.

Ballin will play. He was in doubt before our previous match with concussion but played.
Watmough has been in doubt for the last 8-10 weeks, he'll play.
Foran came back out yesterday didn't he? I didn't see it as I was heading to Kogarah.
I don't think Lyon will miss the match either.
