Cowboys have no stomach for a fight and in thurston and mason they now posess the two biggest egos in the nrl, just as well the Knights are having so much trouble off field as they may keep the vowboys off the bottom.

Boy did we miss Aaron Payne, when he came back on we started lifting our act.

Im watching the delayed game and I have to say the 18-0 scoreline is very deceiving.

Jeez I like Corey Normans game. Was very impressed with him after the Broncs were thrashed by the Storm in the NYC finals last year, reminded me of a young Scott Hill.

Warriors will be wondering where was this last year Kemp? Good turn of speed and nice dive for the line. Thurston stuffed up with their set, should have setup for the field goal, went too creative and then took way too much of a punt with the cross field kick when a repeat set would have been better.

Disappointed because with a field goald we probably win that.
Still to be down 24-0 at halftime and wrack those points on shows promise.

Well, great start to the tipping season - looks like I am starting at a 0-2 start!

The Brisbane Broncos - wow! What a start. They have dismantled the Cowboys and the most impressive part of their game has been their defence. JT and co. cannot find a way through. Corey Norman looked a star in the pre-season, he continues that in to his first grade debut. He "only" saved 3 tries in the last line of defence, played his part in Darren Lockyer's try.

Just on Lockyer, what a great start for the Australian captain. These young guys have given him a new lease of life by the looks, he looks to be enjoying himself immensley. Nick Kenny has been strong, McCullough dangerous. Israel Folau looks so much better in the centres, especially when looking for work.

poor effort by the cowboys,i don't really care that they closed the gap, you'd expect the broncos kids to get rattled in the face of a comeback but the fact remains the cowboys look as interested as last season, going to be a long one for their fans

Absolutely. As much as it was only Thurston who got the Cowboys back into that game he also fluffed that a couple of plays at the end. He really needs a bit of help; Rovelli isn't really a great foil for him.

Norman looks the goods, Winterstien, seems as though 2nd year syndrome wont hit him.

Immaturity of the Broncos side showed in that second half, let the Cowboys get the best of them. Lot of forward passes go the Cowboys way and a penalty or two, but a good game. Liked the look of the young Broncos fullback.

Anyone who says Folau isnt a center is a gibberer. Was fantastic in his one and only full season as center in 08, at 18 years of age mind you. People judging him on last year when he was coming back from injury have NFI.
