I dont know about you, but I'm genuinely excited about this clash and I will be recording it for sure. The Panthers have more than a whiff of the semi decent about them which must be giving their fans semi hards ons about making the semi's. The Raiders on the other hand have a great pack and some talented kids in their back line. What they lack though is a second option in attack if Campese is closed down. The Panthers are almost at full strength and can even afford to let Jarrod Sammut go back to Kindergarden to learn all about "justifying his existance" (sic). Panthers by 12 but the Raiders will be in it till late.

Well he is playing in the centres this time so that may help

His defense in the centres is worse! Purtell was the one that let 3-4 tries in v Sharks last year and your other recruit David Simmons was the lucky guy if I remember correctly.

Purtell and Elford certainly need to prove themselves and if they get towelled by the Raiders away from home, I think that area may be one that is in for a long season.

Dark clouds hovering around at the moment, looks set to rain anytime soon.
Very windy at the moment also, and has turned very cool.

Conditions may well suit Canberra.
