Refs rule forward pass score remains 20-12

Admit it the refs handed you the game

We played sh*thouse for sixty minutes. It is an eighty minute game. Second week in a row that Manly have proved it. Forward pass or not they were in panic mode.

The refs didn't hand us the game. We were still down with three minutes to go. Manly just coudln't handle the pressure.

Eels should never have scored 12 points let alone 24.

At 1 stage parra recieved 5 penalties in a row and scored 2 tries while the eagles were dead on thier feet. No more penalties and te game swings back to even, and then finally 2 tries of rediculious forward passes.
Manly were robbed disgracefully, not 50/50 or each way rub of the green stuff, just disgracefull incompetance by the officials. How can 5 officials miss a pass that is that far forward?

Parramatta were gone at half time. The forward pass may have been a factor but the fact remains that they let Parramatta back into the game.

Should never have let Jarryd Hayne out of the in goal.

May have been a factor my arse. Parra wouldn't have won that if not for the pathetic refereeing. They only won the game with 4 minutes to go, if the refs weren't blind they would have run out of time.

So if the game is in the balance and Manly decided to run an nfl play and the refs give manly the try, you wouldn't say that the refs handed them the game.

5 consecutive penalties whenever Parra looked like doing something in the Manly 20 metre zone and they were all deserved.

Look i hate Manly as much as the next person, but for someone to drawl out the line "Manly lost it themselves..." is just horsesh*t.

If the ref had correctly ruled that the last pass for Parra's second last try went about 6m forward then the Eels wouldn't have even been in a position to win the match on the back of arguably another forward pass.

People need to wake up to the fact that the refs are sometimes the single biggest factor in a team winning or losing a game atm.

It worked in favour of the Eels today. But dont crow too early Eels fans because rest assured that such is their degree of incompetence that it is only a matter of time before they cost you.

As a personal rant, but it must be said,
I have played this game, coached this game and been a fan for 40 years of this game, and the current level of officiating has got it to the point were i am sick of watching this game.
'd be better of just reading about it in mondays paper, games today aren't decided by the players, but by either ineficient or currupt officials, sometimes i wonder wich is true.

pull your f**king head in timmah. you can't understand that passions are riding high after two consecutive losses where we lead for most of the game, one of which that included a ridiculous forward pass at a crucial stage?

I can understand it. Last year i watched my team be on the end of one of the greatest refereeing botch jobs of all-tiome against the Warriros in NZ. They single handedly cost us the match and ive never been so pissed.

And now just 1 1/2 rounds into the season we've already seen the refs greatly affect the outcome of numerous matches.

Its distrubing.

We didn't deserve to win that but somehow played for 20 mins and got home. That pass was about 100 metres foward, if we play the same next week we will get smashed.

I thought Raiders fans were the biggest bunch of whingers but ffs Sea Eagles are giving them a run for the money.

Suck it up!

You have had refs on your side for 30 years now

Coming from a Bulldogs supporter that's a bit rich.

What about the carry on following last years Dragons/Bulldogs game?

Manly totally outplayed Parramatta today and deserved to win. Last year although the decision was wrong, the Dragons had totally outplayed the Bulldogs and didn't deserve to lose the game.

Who is crowing? We know too well how the incompetence of referees an cost a game. Parramatta were 20 nil down after fifty minutes of the game. Forward pass or not Manly couldn't put a team away for the second time in two weeks.

Did we deserve the win? No. Is it all down to the ref? No. Did they play a part? Of course they f**king did. They play a part every week and we are well aware that the rub of the green will change.

Damn straight. That Cronulla game was the same last year. The Sharks deserved to win it and everyone at the game knew it. It happens sometimes but I just can't get over how four officials can't see foward passes!! It's not like they were borderline, how the f**k do they miss the bleading obvious! They're useless!!!

So your'e saying you should be penalised for obstruction even though no one has been obstructed?
You got it. It's an old school shepherd. You're telling me you've never seen a player get penalised simply for running behind one of his team mates? 9/10 when it happens the ref will blow a penalty.
