Got to feel sorry for Manly there , absolutely robbed .That try from 2 forward passes the second one was deadset 5 metres forward . And that last winning try was after Farrar was deliberately taken out by Hayne who is starting to become the biggest cat of the league . Terrible .

We had it and the refs stole it from us

Parramatta were gone at half time. The forward pass may have been a factor but the fact remains that they let Parramatta back into the game.

Should never have let Jarryd Hayne out of the in goal.

But I thought it was only Saints that got the rub of the green from the refs?! Or how about Saints being the only ones kicking the ball out on purpose?!

Bad luck Manly that one try to Grothe was terrible, but as Dean said being up by 20 and being so dominant in the first half, you guys should have had it in the bag then.

That is an absolute slap in the face for rugby league!
We are a loke to all other sports.
5 officials and we can't pick up a pass that is 6 or 7 meters forward, then another on the same side that is 3 meters forward.
nad to finish hayne nocks the ball out and another player dives on it from an offside position and the ref calls game over.
Why do we bother paying good money to go and watch officials destroy this great game.

I might be the only non-Eels fan who thought there was a tiny bit of justice in the official missing that forward pass. Hodkinsons try in the 4th minute was the result of an obvious shepherd (doesn't matter if no one was obstructed, the exact same thing happened in the Storm v Knights game last night).

Just seeing that first forward pass try, how far offside was Robson at the kick? And he was the guy who regathered! Unbelievably incompetent refereeing.

Man of the match: Shayne Hayne & Brett Suttor (Parramatta)

Refs rule forward pass score remains 20-12

Admit it the refs handed you the game

I didn't check the penalty count at half-time, what was it compared to the 9-6 in final total?
at one stage second half pen count was 5-1 to parra.

obviously filthy about the incompetence of the refs in the leadup to that try, but we really should never have allowed them to be in a position to do that to us.

Yeah I posted that before about being offside. It should have been a penalty to Manly at that point before the forward pass, etc.

Like any team who feels hard done by, it'll be interesting to see if Parra will experience that this year.

So your'e saying you should be penalised for obstruction even though no one has been obstructed?
