They couldnt put Brisbane v Saints on FNF because the Broncos played on Monday night the week before. Therefore they can either put NZ v Gold Coast as FNF for Queensland, or double up with another NSW game. They decided it was better to put a Qld team on I guess.

Is it just a coincidence that the week Wade Graham announces he is leaving for the Sharks he gets relegated to the Toyota Cup?

Would have thought even with Walsh back he could have gotten a bench spot

No coincidence at all. His form lately hadn't been great and with his future lying elsewhere he got dropped. I'm happy we did as it gives Walsh and Burns more time to gel before the finals (if we make it) and gives them finals experience together which will help us next season.

I agree with some of the other posters. If we cannot secure two points at home tonight our season is in serious danger of going the same way our last two seasons went. Going out backwards.

A win to the Panthers will steady the ship and put us back in a position where our fate will be in our own hands. That's all you ask.

A loss tonight, third straight at home would be a catastrophe.

Fair enough, I've not watched enough of Panthers this season to assess Graham's form this season.

Panthers should win this pretty comfortably with Lewis and Walsh back

Penrith have a few changes:

Matthew Bell to start with Sam McKendry back to the bench. Wade Graham drops off bench, Masada Iosefa joins the bench

North Qld are 1-17

So they play advantage to the cowboys right up until the cowboys make a break.. Then they call it back..

Despite the poor conditions, the game has been pretty solid.

Will be interesting to hear more about Thurston's dissent. May have a bearing on next week's game which will be of major interest for us Broncos fans.

Panthers have dominated the forward battle but their spine has lacked the polish to make the most of their opportunities while North Queensland have made the most of theirs.
