Yes we were ordinary. We were very poor for periods but the win just about books us a top 8 berth. We haven't made the finals since 2004, so tonight was big relief to win that game. Thinking more positively we are still 2nd and will still be 2nd despite our ordinary form. We still have the time to find form before the finals. We still have to polish our attack and stop the silly errors and penalties but tonight it sounds like we scored some good tries with ball in hand, which is always encouraging.

Gordon was pretty awesome tonight, deserves some credit.

In the end, Penrith were just the more consistent side and were able to take advantage of an exhausted Cowboys side. Cows should feel filthy though, they were in control of that contest and some silly mistakes hurt them. Some reffing decisions didn't help matters but they should never of allowed them to come into it.

Congrats Penrith on nailing a top 8 spot.

If it wasn;t for that lousy video ref call we would have this wrapped up 30-16. Still not a bad effort though
