He was in line at absolute worst.

Worst of all how did any of the idiots on field and the even bigger genius in the box not see Hayne get punched in the face by Sandow? It was closed, swinging fist straight into his head and drew blood FFS.

I think their mistake is looking at Horo instead of the ball.

Hayne doesnt have to be behind the kicker's torso, he simply has to be behind the ball, and he was.
