Who cares about the refs, what I care about is that: a) we won; and b) we played footy for the full 80 minutes, even when we under the pump; and c) we won another minor premiership (well if lose by 60 and the Tigers win both their games by the same margin...).

No bullsh*t one-out stuff this week. Nice variation on the Hornby-Boyd-Morris left side play too. And some f**king awesome defence (the 7 minute period notwithstanding).

We've had a very tough run-in to the finals (good!), with a lot of desperate teams back-to-back (and a red-hot Roosters outfit). Technically we have another desperate team next week, but even if the other games go their way, I can't see Souths getting up for it. They've had multiple chances in a row to rise to the occasion, and they haven't done it once. Honestly, we couldn't have hoped for a better preparation.

They scored two tries off kicks and were gifted one by Hayne. Our defense wasn't the issue this week like it was against the Raiders. Tonight it was blatant cheating by the officials that kept the game close.

A try's a try mate - Flo was beaten all ends up by Uate twice. Credit where it's due. Yes, the MacDougall try was dubious, but you have to be good enough to overcome those things, and tonight we were.

bullsh*t. Apart from the play where he was pushed into touch, he was good tonight. Would have scored from a play he set up if he wasn't held back by Gidley, and he made another 5-10m after hitting the defensive line every time he touched it. And it generally took 2 or 3 of them to bring him down. Not to mention his defence, which has been awesome since he came back (a pleasant surprise).
