An unbiased translation is that he raised his elbow and deliberately hit a tackler on the face with it.

So he should not have gone so high but he still does have the right to protect himself.

Once again what were your thoughts on the Tolman tackle at the begning of the game. It took him out and may have wrecked his knee but was it was not a Storm player doing it is it all fair?

Amazing how a team can go through something as harrowing as the Storm have, and still lose plenty of respect for how they conduct themselves on the field.

The Storm managed it with aplomb.

classy. down 40-0, score a try and give sh*t to a storm player.

i don't think so, dickhead.

we are a rabble.

I can understand why he did it, given that the Storm player on question dropped his knees into Ta'ai back while he was scoring.

We can play for all the PRIDE in the world, but as soon as that 80 minutes is up, we've got nothing to show from it.

And that is the most heartbreaking thing of all.
Sadly, yes, that's true.

Was absolutely heart-breaking to see the Storms jerseys today - all with Jayco sponsoring on it, as if they tried the best they can to fix up their jersey sponsorship mess within the last 24 hours!

Well you would hope the Storm would win considering they have $700k more worth of talent.

I'm happy for the Storm. They're a great side. They cheated, they lied, they deceived, but this was a team that could've really challenged even if they had done so fairly. It's not hard to rebuild on the field when you have a great roster from 1-25 and have great U20s and SG Ball teams. They've lost plenty of players in recent times, but still remained strong.

We, as I've vented all night, were absolutely trash. We were hopeless on attack and defense - we really were. Our first five weeks now looking very flaky. Troubling times.

FFS Warriors fans the storm aren't over the cap today.

They sat out Inglis and other first graders, they should be very close to the limit.

Warriors are just playing poorly.

that's no arguement

if the storm hadn't cheated they would not have the likes of finch, lowrie etc etc so having inglis out would hurt the team more

and they didn't 'rest' inglis to show they are playing a cap level team, he is injured!

Storm looked like kids in the park having fun. Best they've look all year. Incredible with the week they've had. Looks like they couldn't wait to get back on the field and do what they do best. Wish I hadn't changed my picks to the warriors now, but that was amazing from the Storm.

Warriors did contribute though with a horrible performance. Thought they were better than that.

700k - 400k of GI who wasn't playing.

So, still cheaters.. but slightly less so.

Which goes to show that GI isn't as key to the team as the other 3 members of their big name players. Should be the first one they drop, in the event they need to free up cap.

Luck had it coming, the dirty merkin had been doing anything he could to provoke Melbourne into a fight for the entire 2nd half.

bullsh*t. It was a cheap shot from a thug.

The only thing Luck had done was stick up for his team after cheap shot upon cheap shot from Storm thugs.

Melbourne had a choice tonight. They could come out as a team that responds under adversity in the best possible way, or they could choose to be a bunch of thugs out to blame it on everyone but themselves. They chose the latter.

Pretty sure Melbourne weren't the ones going out there and starting fights because the other team was kicking their ass.

Luck shouldn't have been acting like a dirty wanker for most the game if he didn't want any retribution against him.

sounded like he wasalready making excuses for the loss:lol:

Sika Manu was out too. As was MacDougall, Proctor, and Neilsen. Though the latter two would be on nothing.
