Anasta seems to be named to play for the roosters and yet was ruled out its just another crap story from the tele and some people are too stupid to question the trash they print

Manly have been looking impressive.

Bar being robbed by the Eels, and awfully unlucky losses to both the GC and my mob, they could very well be undefeated. Certainly proving the critics who doubted them without Orford very wrong.

Manly's forwards are just so awesome. Dragons were missing some cattle in their forward pack that would surely make the rematch more interesting, but credit where it's due, the Manly forward pack is going awesome.

Sharks could beat them again and the Eels would still make the top 8 easily dopey

Lets see how you go against Manly next weekend at Brooky champ, I'd be more worried about that and how you will handle them before shooting my mouth if I was you.

Pretty sure Manly have some revenge to exact on you guys.....if only our pass from Soward wasn't as forward as the one Parr scored from against Manly hey.

There are a bunch of sore losers in this thread tonight. Manly were much more committed tonight. No excuses, both teams were affected by injuries and players backing up from rep matches. Both teams are also likely to improve as it is only early on in the season.

WHY ????

Seems a fair response to some of the earlier posts.

If you want a fair and balanced view that is.

I mean we could just go with what the telegraph says is gospel.

................. for all the 'thinkers' out there.

No I don't want fair and balanced view.
I just want this whinging biatch to shut the f**k up.

Paying the price for inexperience in the 1,6,7,9 is all. This is Ballin's third season as a starting hooker and he's the most experienced of our combination. I think as the season progresses there will be less and less of these fades as those four get more level headed. I still think we're a season off being a legitimate force however.

Congrats to Manly, they outplayed us tonight.

No excuses, yes some doubtful decisions, but Manly were the better team.

Look forward to meeting again when we have 6 or 7 players back in the side.
As I said before the game kicked off, I'd rather have blokes in my side backing up than not being on the field at all.

Manly were the better side tonight as simple as that.

To all the Saints fans in this thread, let it go.....everyone tells us you can't win a comp in May. So even if Saints had won tonight, the same clowns would be in here going on about choking, May premiers etc.....

What matters is, come end of the Round on Monday night, there will be 15 teams looking up at us still.....and we have a sh*tload of power to come back into the team.
We can't win all of them.
7/2 after 9 rounds, I'm pretty happy with that.

When it's all said and done, it was a good performance by the boys tonight. There were still too many errors and penalties late in the game, that a better side may have been able to take advantage of. But, considering we lost Foran at half time... I'll take it.

Is there a problem with the Dragons set up? Always seem to have injuries. Since Hasler took over I think we would have one of the best records for lack of injuries, the recovery and rehabilitation programs in place are second to none, it's rare that a player misses more than a week in a row if any. People could put it down to luck but you can't be lucky for 4-5 years while others struggle.

Fairdinkum mate you would whing after a good root.

You really are a fool aren't you

1 i was only responding to other idiots posting about cooper as i would not have brought it up myself because it is a non event

2 i had a go at hodkinson staying down after some of your fans whinged about boyd staying down for far more reason

3 Not going to the video ref for the morris attempted try and the forward pass fair enough i am whinging about these but there is no way that it should not have gone upstairs and there are hundreds of those passes every week

i have already admitted that manly played the better football tonight

LOL

Well. ...... .. ........ .... Nup I can't argue with that line of thought I suppose.

Somebody mentioned a problem with our set up, with regards to injuries. If I had the know how to add more than one quote at a time I would :) . I really don't think so. We defenitely DID have a problem a few years back. When Paul McGregor was our strength and conditioning coach (geez was there a more injury prone player than Mary....... but I digress). No just a bad start to the year injury wise. Nothing you can do about it but pop a few concrete tablets and HTFU.

He is being serious, he has mentioned it in another thread.

More importantly, I just watched the Morris no try again....frame by frame.
That was a try.
His hands were on the ball, as the point of the ball touched the ground, well inside the dead ball line.

Pause it and go frame by frame and you'll see it's a try.

I still think Manly outplayed us, but that would have made it 22-12 with 22mins left....and then the Lett no try.
The result may well have been a lot different if they checked Morris's no try.
