I wonder if you are looking at the same incident? It's not anything like a head clash, its an elbow to the mouth of a player on the ground, and it appears to connect. Jarryd Hayne used to enjoy doing this sort of thing earlier in his career but in latter years he's found more effective ways of hurting the opposition (when he's in the mood). Anyway, even if Aubisson gets away with it, someone should have a quiet word with him. I'm sure he doesn't want to become known as a grub. And one time he might not get away with it.

It is most un-Elliott like to write off oppositions. If he did so, well he was wrong. The Roosters were a rabble at Penrith in Round 5 but you could not write off a team with their personnel and coach even then.

It is the same incident at 57:30. Head clash with Nate Myles and fell to the ground and then Aubbuson fell on top of him with his elbow. I am fairly sure it was the head clash that hurt him. Aubbuson looked like he was just trying to pin him down rather than hurt him.

Elliott was the Canberra coach in '03? Canberra came 4th and lasted 2 weeks into the finals series.

They have not had a better season since. Seems they still have not recovered.

Went out in straight sets in 03 mate. Won a finals game this year. Elliot crippled the Raiders. Well glad he is gone.

Feel for Penrith here. 3 top names out, a star centre who was hampered by injury all season, a star fullback well below his best and their best player obviously in la la land. To make matters worse, I don't know if they'll be able to back up next season.

Big Mick are there any Penny players in reserves who can actually make an impact come 2011?

Well out of the players used in the finals only Graham, Pritchard, Cooper are going. So far just Arana Taumata is coming. We need a Ball playing backrower to replace Pritchard. Paulo has played 5/8 for Samoa and juniors so he may come along. Thankfully we have 400k offered to Pritchard to spend.

As for Juniors 3 players in Aust Schoolboys. So prob 2 or 3 years away for NRL standard. NYC is rubbish although NSW Cup is in to the Prelim final this week so hopefully a few can step up.

Coote, Mckendry, Grant, Earl, Taumata, Walsh, Paulo, Masada, Jennings all under 23 so should get even better
