I'd rather be on 2 points then have them play without any integrity. It was disgraceful by saints. For all those saying it is just roosters fans whinging after losing we have lost 6 other games and took it on the chin. Obviously something unusual happened yesterday to trigger the reaction. Robinson said the same thing. Saints are coached to lay down.[/QUOTE]

just for you

Guerra gave evidence during Justin Hodges? judiciary hearing on Tuesday night that he had attempted to milk a penalty by giving the impression that the Brisbane centre had speared him into the ground during their preliminary final meeting last week.

Congrats Roosters fans. You have reached Rabbits20 level of stupid

Not one chooks fan has claimed we lost or were ripped off. This isn't about Easts. This is about the blight on the game that diving is. Many non chooks fans have agreed. Are you happy with it?

Good on Robinson. Chooks are scum and deserve everything they get but that was a nice blast from Robinson. The refs in general come off as arrogant merkins who think they are actually part of the show.

so penalties should only be awarded if a player is injured?

f**k you lot are dumb

Penalties shouldn't be awarded when they aren't f**ken penalties.
Nightingale - no penalty
Dugan- no penalty
Mc crone no penalty
Napa hit no penalty
Moa hit no penalty

The bunker is so inconsistent that they called out a late hit on Saints kicker early in the game yet let a worse one go later.

I didn't think the Rein hit should have been a penalty either.

I know others have said it in this thread but its simple, if a player stays down for a high shot, grapple or whatever, then they should automatically have to go off for a period of time for an assessment, no ifs or buts, it will cut down the staying down to milk a penalty real quick.

So it's a 20k fine.
Questioning the integrity of a match official is 10k right? Tick for that for that one.
The other 10k is for questioning the integrity of the bunker then?
I thought Robbo was questioning their role rather than their integrity.

Whatever the monetary fine is, there should be a minimum 2 week suspension for bringing the game into disrepute. Not that I necessarily agree or disagree with anything Trent said however the way he has gone about it has definitely tarnished the image of the game.

Clubs are starting to think that they?ll wear a financial penalty in order to vent or, in some cases, try to influence future refereeing of their matches. If financial penalties are no longer a deterrent, missing matches (similar to in the EPL) may ensure they follow protocol to resolve their grievances in future.

I have no problem with this. Although it will probably lead to even more cryptic baggings of refs because coaches can't cop their shit team is shit.

Yep, really shouldn't be that hard.

In saying that, the bunker shouldn't be making calls on if a player was hit high after the fact. f**k me, with all 200 of their screens why they can't make a call in real time and with two refs and two linesman I don't know... Not having an option to review means things won't be perfect but far out, they get them wrong on review that often it's not like we lose much, and it'll cut this do in crap right out and punish their team with a set defensive line.
