Can't wait for this game, we'll show em who the real contenders are and who are the pretenders. No easy ride and leg ups the for the merge this year.

The only prediction I can make with anything close to certainty is that Sandow's missed tackle count will reach double digits.

This is not souths biggest game of the year, this is just the start! Be afraid, be very afraid!

I could see the Mascot under 9's absolutely sh*tting themselves with laughter if they had to play this line up

1 Rhys Wesser 2 Fetuli Talanoa 3 Junior Vai Vai 4 Dylan Farrell 5 Chris McQueen 6 John Sutton 7 Chris Sandow
8 Scott Geddes 9 Beau Falloon 10 Roy Asotasi 11 Eddy Pettybourne 12 Shannan McPherson 13 Ben Lowe

If Saints don't put 50 on that shower of sh*te then they're just not trying.
I hope for your sake your mum hides all the sharp objects in your house.

How sh*t is that Bunnies side?

Actually, in all seriousness I believe it's their declaration that winning a trial match isn't their top priority for this season.

They've deliberately picked the sort of side that Saints usually pick. A blend of first graders and reserve players.

It's has a two way benefit - firstly if they get pumped they'll point to their weakened line up. If they lose in a close one or amazingly even win, they will start talking up their Premiership chances.

Of course, time and history will prove them wrong, but every team gets to dream at the start of the season and Souths are no different this season from 80% of other teams. It's just in previous seasons they were admitting they didnt have a snowballs chance in hell of getting anything other than sympathy votes for sh*teness and put a big emphasis on this game.

Really? Thanks for that.

ahh another joker on the forums.

its a trial so why would they name a full strength side?

No team does until the last week of trials and even then they only play for 20 mins and get off. Its silly to bag souths over a weak trial team.

if saints gave a sh*t we'd win this by 60.

seeing as though we don't, um we'll just win by less

Luke, Burgess, Inglis, Crocker, Stuart and Clark are all recovering from off season surgery/injuries whilst Merritt and Taylor are playing the night before. So it's the best team that we could of picked.
