No need to get personal. All i'm saying is if a player drops the ball but gets a toe to it a split second after, is it now fine? That's all. I have no problem if it is consistent but as the commentators have mentioned the video ref has implied it was a potential drop kick so do we take each situation as the same?

I made the comment about the drop kick in jest. The video ref's decision was based on the play being an attempted kick - and that Marshall made grazing contact with the ball, hence no knock on.

Tigers go in again, and the dragons look out on their feet.

Not over yet given how much time is left, but you gotta think this one is close to wrapped up judging by the body language of each team

Looks like team boring is going to lose another finals game.
Just keep taking those useless shots at penalty Dragons.

He wasn't attempting a field goal. He was atempting a bomb, but missed it, however did get a touch to it BEFORE (not after) the ball hit the ground, which makes it a kick and play on. Kicking the ball AFTER it hits the ground is a completely different issue.

Imagine how good the Tigers would be if they had a fast guy like Merritt sniffing around the ruck.

Their current outside backs barring Lawrence are just far too slow.

I know! But the commentators who are next to the video ref box have suggested that the video ref thought it hit the ground first and it hit his boot after, implying it was a drop goal attempt, that's what the commentators have said. Either way i don't agree.
