Terrible second half from dragons. Still think they can beat the warriors or Brisbane next week though..
Good win from the tigs but even theyl need to improve to match it with the three teams above them.. Mel would of put 20 on them before half time

Well done Tigers. Too good in the second half. Saints should have finished them off in the first, but their attack was horrid for the most part.

Why didn't Le Gaz see more ball?? He went past/round/over/through Utai everytime.
Instead they went left with almost every chance with their usual Boyd, Cooper and Gumby play that got them nowhere.

Bad coaching???

I was wondering the same. I just don't get it. If they worked to create a little more space for Gaz he'd be in for all money.

more like over-coaching. "Too much" coaching that they become mechanical and can't seem to think outside the square. Of course it'll work most of the time, but it's been shown that when the Dragons are behind they panic and there doesnt seem to be a plan B

The lack of vision shown by St George was amazing. Most of the good sides have a dummy half and two first receivers on either side of the ruck that no which way to shift the ball. The Dragons kept going away from their numbers. Anyway easy from up in the stands, but just before half time they blew so many chances with bad options

Did not take enough chances with the pill.
Shooting for the penalty goal was lunacy and showed the cue was in the rack.

Give the Tigers some credit, you oxygen thief.

Well done Tigers. By far the better team in the second half. Took more chances than it should have to knock us out, but the result is a fair indication of the 80 minuts for mine. We dominated most of the first half, but Wests have dominated the entire second 40.

I now have to cheer for Brisbane, Manly, and Melbourne. Just typing that makes me feel like a shower.

We had half a dozen individuals who ahd reasonable games, but as a team we were woeful. Crucially, Soward and Hornby were both crap (Soward's set up of Nightingale notwithstanding).

Thank god we won. That shit will scar you for life.

The dragons lost it on the 10 minutes before halftime. The tigers were absolutely disgraceful and should have been punished with a 12-18 point deficit at the break. The goal kick for 12-6 qa fair enough however the kick from wide to make it 14-6 after 2 sets on our line was stupid. As was setting for the field goal. If saints go for the try either time they score at least once IMO. Us being down by 12 or more at halftime would have been a huge mental edge for the dragons.
