epic choke

Give the Tigers some credit, you oxygen thief.

Well done Tigers. By far the better team in the second half. Took more chances than it should have to knock us out, but the result is a fair indication of the 80 minuts for mine. We dominated most of the first half, but Wests have dominated the entire second 40.

I now have to cheer for Brisbane, Manly, and Melbourne. Just typing that makes me feel like a shower.

We had half a dozen individuals who ahd reasonable games, but as a team we were woeful. Crucially, Soward and Hornby were both crap (Soward's set up of Nightingale notwithstanding).

Wow Soward finally stood up in the final minute....Behind a team mate....After pushing a Tiger.

Tigers played solidly but wow, the Dragons were pretty bloody awful.

Bad news for the rest of the comp when Tigers win like that on the back of one of Marshalls worst games.

Soward didn't run or hide after he pushed Gibbs, his team mates just came in to save him from further embarrassment.

Have to have a laugh at the Dragon's fans who thought they were "back" and the "team to beat" after they won against the Panthers.

Still, I doubt they will get knocked out, I think they will have a second chance and I wouldn't put the line through them yet.

If they do get a 2nd chance it will be against brisbane in brisbane or NZ in NZ....

That was a fun game to watch. Soward's little cry face at the ref was hilarity+ and then at the end when a man his own size, Farah, was laughing and pushing him around. Oh well, hard luck Dragons. I hope you don't get knocked out because it's fun watching the Tigers beat you.

Tigers thoroughly deserved. Played us off the park in the second half. Its their year this year and good luck to them.

My boys....not the team we were I'm afraid. A mere shadow. Not saying we're fodder next week if we get that far, but we need to reinvent ourselves in a hurry. Our dominance was built on a coffin nail hard forward pack, an awesome kick chase and the best defence I've seen. All starts in the pigs. Our pack is atill alright, but it doesn't dominate any more.

4 things to close from me for tonight -

1. Steve Folkes and Tim Moltzen will be fantatsic for Saints next year.
2. Liam Fulton had a great game and was clearly the best player on the pitch.
3. Our second halves bite arse.
4. I think we're just about gone. Its been a hell of a ride though. Thankyou to all in the Red V who have given this formerly long suffering fan a f**king absolutely brilliant two years. I will cherish them always. Still, where there is life, there is hope. Nervous weekend coming up.

Now. Time for more beer.

Lawrence back next week so the Tigers will actually have a decently fast outside back on their team. Pity Ayshford got injured because I was hoping it would spell the end of Utai.
