Ennis proved to be miles in front of Young with his service when he came on so I can only wonder what Farah might have done in that final 15 minutes. Merrin has been really quiet and King has lived up to my expectations - lots of (mostly ineffective) tackles and little work-rate with the ball. Rest of the players have been average to good. NSW have done really well to still be in this, right hand defence looks great, left hand not so much but its hanging on. Attack through Nielsen / Lockyer is definitely the way to go in the second half.

duggan looks very slow in set pieces and returning it, taken a couple of bombs, although they really weren't anything an NRL fullback couldn't handle

Morris done nothing as expected

Pearce f**king usless

King OMFG

Young he added absolutely nothing at all
f**k off, Dugan is way better then Hayne, I have no reason to have a bias opinion, and that's the way I see it.

You are a f**king pelican at times mate
He was umbrella'd by 4 defenders, if he didnt go to ground, he'd have been put back in field. Hayne would have done the same thing... or attempted to beat all 4 and cost us a line drop out.

he is easy meat for the QLD defense, doesn't look remotely like breaking the line, has no X factor about him so far

The only period QLD were on top was for 15 mins, we have dominated the rest. Gotta hang in there till the last 10 and then go all out

Dont know why people are ripping into Pearce, i dont rate him but he hasn't been bad at all. Nor has anyone from the blues really, except maybe King

Dugans been pretty good. Laughed at Ennis's first touch. Bird is supurb in origin footy. King is rubbish. Uate has been pretty good as well I think. Pearce's kicking hasnt been great but been decent with the ball in hand, Soward starting to put a few solid kicks in.

Been pretty good since that start.

Forwards.... ALL crap. Every last one of them. King the worst, Merrin rubbish, Mannah poor, Snowden the best of a bunch of spastics but still crap.

Backrow has done nothing. Gallen is making his dozen hitups and getting pushed back most times, Bird has one of the cleanest jerseys on the ground and Scott.... is he on the field?

Halves have been shot in the foot by the above mentioned bunch of nuffies, so I'll hold off on my criticism of them. Kicking has been pretty average from both

Backs.... Jennins and Uate have been pretty damned awesome. Morris just plugging away, same with Gasnier. Dugan has been average, no idea why only making a couple f**k ups is supposed to be a great debut.

Funny thing is for all this, we are still well within striking distance. Our goal line defence has been great, and really QLD aren't playing much better than us at any rate.

Can't see us winning though. QLD have plenty of improvement left in them, whereas the shortcomings of the Blues aren't going to magically disappear

Yeah, Stuart has nfi. Ennis should have started too.

Can't agree.

despite his knock on on their try line , Ennis IS playing alright, but Young was going OK in a retreating defence line. Don't let Ray Warren fool you. NSW comeback didn't coincide with Ennis coming on, it was neither here nor there.

Does it make you cry that almost every unbiased fan (ie not raiders/eels fans) has praised dugan for a very good game?

Pearce has impressed - if Dugan wasn't bottling up that left hand edge for the Blues we'd have probably scored by now. I had no problems with Dugan being selected but after that first half performance I'm not sure he's up to Origin yet.
