Saints won,and are the best team, but at full strength we will test these blokes, add,Lawrence,Tuqiri,Ellis,Galloway,McKinnon,Payten and some support players, and we trouble the hell out of the dragons.
I'm not trying to justify the loss. We were decent in attack, probably making more linebreaks than the Dragons, but woeful in defence. The Dragons weren't at their best but that's understandable given the number of players backing up from origin.

Correct decision, learn the rules.
I agree with Vic ... at full strength, the Tigers would pose serious questions to us at full strength too.
We never seem to play our best footy against Wests .. not sure what it is, but pretty much ever since that day we smacked them 50-0 at Kogarah in 2004, we haven't played an excellent 80 minutes against them.
In any case, there's a reason the Tigers were put as 2nd favourites to win the Premiership pre-season ... once they get their players back, the issue for them will be trying to make the top 4, because it is not easy to make the GF from 5-8, even though the Eels and Roosters have happened to do it the last 2 years.
No, but you are a football supporter arent you?You mistake me for a Knights supporter.
Uhhh hello, no we won't. Haven't you been listening to the Saints fans. We won't cuz we're Westies and Benji banged Fulton's missus. Get a clue.

I dont normally weigh in on these threads so i wouldnt know. It's pretty obvious though i suppose . Much of the squad are the same numpties who regularly got flogged in 2008 before Bennett ...
I've been looking everywhere on the net for the rules and after reading the 08 international rules, I still would have though the offence of being offside at a 20m tap in defence would have resulted in a penalty at the 30m mark.............
its the equivalent positions of players out
our whole left side attack where we score 75% of our tries is on the sidelines. it would be the same as you guys having creagh/cooper/morris out
the dragons are out and away the best team in the comp atm however if you dont think that on our day at full strength we cant beat you then you have rocks in your head. yes the dragons would still be deserved favourites but im entitled to be confident in us.
Any penalty given at a restart of play including the 20m optional restart happens where the restart is. Only exception is with drop outs which cant be on the try line for obvious reasons.
I must have rocks in my head then.
Ted Ellery, you are running a great risk of making us think that all Tiges fans aren't sooks and whingers. Stop talking sense!!

The penalty wasn't given at the restart of play. It was given moments later for offside. A penalty at the restart of play when the rules are read like that would only apply to penalties for dissent if in defense and if in possession being offside and getting involved in the play, taking the optional kick restart and kicking it out on the full or tapping it in front of the line. In any case of an offside penalty the penalty is always awarded on the mark where the defenders should have been standing initially. Incorrect call.
