Don't like complimenting teams that aren't Souths...but fmd don't the Knights look good this year. If it's not just a start of year fluke they're going to go a long way. Multiple injuries from last week and they haven't lost a step.

It's helped us that both teams have not shown up to play.

Expected big things from Bowen after the All stars game, thought he was back to his best. But he and Thurston cant do jack behind an ordinary pack and terrible outside backs

*edit* goddamn i just busted off some phat rhyme

i don't know if its been bad opposition or them playing well. panthers and cows have been awful
No doubt the cows are terrible but the Panthers looked good this week, so maybe it was just the Knights making them look worse than they are.

Meanwhile, the Cows are going to get destroyed by the Storm in round 3.

Definately clocked off towards the end there and missed mullens leadership on the field, disappointing, every for and against point counts at the end of year.

These injuries are just f**ked. Gidley, De Gois, Costigan and now Mullen. Seriously, just f**ked.

Boys didnt clock off.

30+ degrees last week backed up by the hottest and most humid road trip on the callender. Add to that there was a bush fire somewhere...

They were out on their feet.

Almost impossible to prepare for those conditions.

Great result on a tough road trip.

Welcome back Jarred Mullen. At his best, he can be a representative half. If only he can avoid injury and a tendency to drift in and out of games. Last night showed his talent. Love his kicking and passing game, just needs to bring this game each week. Outclassed the games premiere halfback in Thurston, a nice night out.

The Cowboys should have been able to make it two wins from two games at home. Looking at the replay I just watched, they looked like their attitude from round one had abandoned them as well their execution. Neil Henry will be furious and his job might just go with it if he can't stop this BS up north. Case in point the Patterson try. The number ten for NQ (name escapes me) missed back to back tackles that was down right embarassing and perhaps highlights my point re: attitude and execution.
