Timmah, where do you get all the playing jersey details from? it's great stuff.

Question...why did Roosters where a white away strip last week whilst Bunnies wore a home jersey? Anyone?

Playing jersey details are usually an educated guess, or if clubs announce something.

Last week's jersey was the Roosters' heritage jersey, not away jersey - they wore it because they often wear their heritage strip when they play Souths.

They're away jersey is an interesting one:

And the Bunnies' white strip is their away strip. Their black strip with Star City on the front is their home strip.

The difference in this game will be the bench.
Manly have absolute rubbish on the bench, and last week, the Roosters bench changed the game. Manly will stay with the Roosters for at least 20 mins then the interchange will come into it and Roosters should run away with it really.

If they dont then they should get an arse kicking from coach Smith.

IMO this is our first big test of the season. The players were always going to be up for the 1st game of the season especially against South’s but we all saw what can happen if they fall asleep. Last year we tended to lose games against opponents we should of beaten (Cowboys, Sharks and Newcastle come to mind) so hopefully the right attitude is present game day and they come away with a win.

Roosters by 18. Manly will put up fight for awhile then fade. Going to be a tough month untill they get back players.

As much as the roosters had a good win last week I cant imagine they'd be happy at letting souths put so many on them.
Looking for the chooks to muscle up in the middle considerably.

Manly looked slow last week. Ball control and general kicking game was terrible. I think a very ordinary Melbourne team made us look better then we were.
Just cant see us winning without Killer and King.

Roosters by as many as you want. Hargreaves to be sent off.

If this rain holds up it could even things up a bit. I hope Watmough got the glue I sent him.

Is there any chance Williams can run straight and hard this arvo instead of jogging to the line a trying wrestle his way through?

I have the Roosters winning this though the wet evens things out for Manly who will be in with a fighting chance in an arm wrestle although injuries to their side still have Manly listed as underdogs. Nate Myles in this weather will be huge for the Roosters. I am interested to see how Pearce plays with Carney back in the side. Last season he just hitched his wagon to TC, after round one's impressive performance, I'd like him to remain the guy steering this team around the paddock.

We haven't wont a game in the wet since 2008.... could be a danger for us.

There is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't win this given Manly's injuries but then again there was no reason why we shouldn't have beaten Cronulla last year either

This is my concern. The wet is an equaliser for Manly.
