Congrats to the Saints, too good.

Happy with how we played, although we couldn't win.
We need to play like that every week to make this game really count.

Imagine this team, minus Wesser and Talanoa, and a couple of decent players replacing them. This team would have beaten 14 of the 15 other teams today. Sure we've lost this now. But so many positives to take away from it if we play like this every week.

First time you have said something right !!!
I agree

I was going to say 16-0 doesnt reflect the game , but it does really . Stupid mistakes especially from the likes of Wesser are costly its about right really .

Wesser and Talanoa can't possibly be the no.1 options for Souths. They just can't.

Wesser especially simply has to be dropped after this game. With him not on the field Souths would be winning
They're not. We have kids who'd be miles better. Josh Mansour and James Roberts should slot in for Talanoa and Wesser from now. I just hope Lang is smart enough to realise.

Although, I'm not confident Lang is capable of doing that.
Gasnier > Inglis by some margin... not just because of the try but he has been everywhere tonight...in both attack and defence.. best game from him since his return.
I disagree. I think they've been even. Inglis overpowered him in defense.
Storm would eat both teams for breakfast playing like they are tonight
There is no way they would have kept us out the way the Dragons did. There was 3 or 4 times where it would have been try time against anyone else other than the best defense in the comp.

Would love to see James Roberts given a shot. The kid is carving up in the 20's, and surely he can't be any worse than Wesser!

You can't afford to carry passengers and expect to be a top side. I know that as a Penrith fan and Souths have the same issue- Talanoa and an over the hill Wesser. Sad as he was once an awesome player.

Melbourne v Dragons could be an epic game- but they don't play till Round 24.

For some bizarre reason this happens all too often.

Last year Knights V Dragons didnt happen until round 25.

The year before we didnt play the Panthers until round 26

And this year we dont play the Bulldogs and Rabbitohs until round 25 and round 26 respectively.

Absolute joke by the NRL.

And on the other end of the spectrum you have the Dragons and Bulldogs playing each other playing each other twice early in the season this year.

Fair enough, Inglis certainly has played a good game. But Gasnier hasn't played like this since his return, he has troubled Inglis all night... not really the same can be said in reverse.

Nice little cheapshot by Inglis in the end. Held him nice & tighjt so he couldn't react.

Bad lukc Souths fans. Great game. Scoreline doesn't do justice.

In an ideal world we'd keep him out a little longer. He's a future star but a little green, but still a green Roberts runs rings around Wesser.
