He executes under pressure; that's all we need. Plus he's fast and has a great kicking game.

We didn't sign him for his defence - we've got plenty of good defenders to hide him behind. One reason he misses so many is because he comes out of the line at speed. Maybe even on speed?

Agree...he rushes at the line which is not a bad thing.

It is, its a selfish play but John Lang thinks defensive structure is what his italian neighbour has around his house.

Kearny will have much better structures to hide/help him.

We really should have won that game, but well done to souths for sticking in there and kicking a hell of a FG to win it in extra time.

Not often you score my tries and lose, Roosters will be spewing.

Went up there in a spur of the moment decision after soccer with dad, got there 20 minutes in, spent f**king forever in the car park and saw three minutes of the first half, so GP meant I got better value for money! Pretty good game of footy, always a bit of feeling in Easts - Souths games

Kenny-Dowall pushing Inglis as he caught it. Even Pearce's puppet Greg Alexander said they got it wrong.

Anyway champ, i bet you weren't crying last year when Robinson gifted you guys the game with that bullshit penalty on Champion.
You scored all your points that night off the back of penalties

Anyhow, calling you a P.O.S was wrong I do apologies.

Better team lost IMHO but we only have ourselves to blame. Souths took their chances, never gave up and got a confidence boosting win.

See you Vermin next year for another round of rugby league's best and
most important rivalry :D

Back home far too early, softdrinkers I call my mates got themselves kicked out early so I didn't get to get drunk.

The greatest team of all with a never say die attitude that has been missing for a lot of close games this year. The way we played those last 10 minutes, if we did that all year we'd have another 3 or 4 wins.

Everyone is praising Sandow for the miracle fg, but IMO out of our halves Sutton had the better game, the last fortnight he looks a lot more dangerous, like he actually knows what he's about to do with the ball instead of running like a headless chook. That's a solid fortnight from him, the first time in 2 years he's had back to back good games. If he keeps it up and with some guidance from Maguire next year, Sutton could be a massive steal. A potentially very very good player for basically nothing under the cap.

Inglis is back as the best centre in the world.

But without getting too carried away, we beat a team we should have beat and needed to beat to stay alive. Next week at home against the warriors is a much more important game. If we can win it and get some momentum back as Taylor and then Asotasi should return, we might just be able to surprise a few people this year and get something out of 2011.

Roosters were pretty hard done by with the non-knock on that gave the Rabbitohs a crucial try. Not to mention SKD being penalised for a fairly innocuous tackle while that filthy turncoat Gringles can lay into Carney's head without even a mention from the commentators.

sandow is a merkin, but that was a hell of a kick. i left the room at tackle four to get a drink since souths were so far out, and my dad started looking for something else....we were both decidedly shocked by the fact the game ended.
