I don't understand how he keeps getting a first grade gig. Even the worst referees occasionally have good games, but he literally never has.

Full credit to the Cowboys, Neil Henry devised the perfect gameplan to beat the Raiders and the players executed it perfectly. Their defence in particular was a highlight.

Campese was off, but anyone but the most optimistic Raiders fan expected him to be up and down as he gets used to the week in week out grind after missing 18 months. The media were the only ones talking him up as an Origin candidate already, all the talk from the Raiders has been about taking it game by game and tonight showed why.

I also wonder whether White's injury made him subconsciously wary about taking the line on, given that it was an identical injury to the one he suffered. Probably still some mental scars to overcome there.

Fergo was absolutely outstanding. He cops a lot of crap around here for past actions, but he's really cut the brain snaps from his game this year and looks to be developing very nicely.

Let's hope the real Raiders turn up next week, and just one game without a serious injury.

The refs are nowhere near as bad as the Raiders. They are so poorly coached.

Flat footed. Predictable. No idea when they are inside the oppositions 20.

Furner is coaching like its still the 90's. They are a team of individuals with no idea. The Tigers made them look good last Monday.

The only thing worse than Jarrod Crokers defence is David Furners coaching.

Croker was fine. Wighton rushing in is what cost us out wide.

im a staunch Croker fan but the issues were on croker

he was getting bathed every time they ran down his side. Wighton had to keep coming in because he had absolutely no confidence in Croker to make a tackle. Which was justified by the fact he barely made one

3 of the 4 NQLD tries were due to defensive errors by Croker. The 4th was because dopey Tilse threw Thompson across the line

Yeaaaah.... worst coached side in the league, by far. And before people start saying Stephen Kearney, he has the shittest roster in the comp to deal with.

Last year I was laughed at on here for suggesting that the Raiders look like they don't do enough match intensive practice at training... low and behold, it was identified as one of the main areas for improvement that came out of our review.

This year, again, I'm seeing traits of a team who don't train properly and who aren't coached properly. We're neither here nor there, and it shits me to f**king tears.

I'm gonna have nightmares about that performance for years to come. Refs were rubbish, but we were worse.

No game plan, no structure, and an absolute pile of shit dished up this evening. Injuries are not to blame on that one. Only Ferguson was semi-decent, while I thought Buttriss was OK.

Time is running out for Furner. Get us clicking or it is bye bye.

I thought Wighton was a bees dick from intercepting the pass though, rocks or diamonds I guess.

Unlucky Raiders, probably copped more dud calls than us but losing 2 for the majority of the game was always going to hurt. I thought our forwards just rumbled forwards beautifully and allowed the backs plenty of time and space to do their thing. We have the makings of a great side but just don't have that polish yet.

People wondered why us NQ fans were angry that the club went and got Lui and seemed to want him over Ray Ray........... Can you see now why we rate him? He is a work in progress but he can defend stoutly and is getting better game by game with the ball in hand.

Wighton and Fergo were our best two

You tend to lose most games that your wingers are the top 2 performers

Yeah, the main thing TLL does is cause the commentators to growl LEYYROOYYDD-LAAARS before he gets chopped down for a 0 metre gain.

He must have mixed in some big runs with all those 0 metre gains you talk about to run for 130 metres last night.

Massive, but of no consequence.

Much like TLL, who IMO, is rank average.

You will miss White badly.

Harsh. To be honest I always liked him better in the second row, those first couple of seasons at the raiders he was knocking over players like they were bowling pins. I don't think he is as effective in the front row. He is still good but doesn't wow me like he used to.

Fensom, White, Thompson, Fensom and Shillington is a massive blow out of any pack.

Some tough times ahead for the green machine me thinks.
