Good start to the season for the Broncos. I put their sloppy start down to wet weather and pre-season rust.

Hopefully that is the worse either side plays this year.

Both sides have significant changes in the spine. So you can't really expect it to all gel right away.

those mugs thinking our 5/8 is useless, need to think again

is he an immortal? obviously not

is he gonna do a good job? from tonight's moments, obviously he is
I reckon you've found yourselves a good player there. He'll only get better with experience.
Broncos have some terrific individual players but they won't challenge the top sides with that spine.

The Eels will improve with Hayne in the side but wow they were bad in that second half. I can't make my mind up over Sandow, he really is an enigma. For every good play he does, he follows up with 2 incredibly dumb ones.
That's almost to the letter what I've been saying since we lost him.

Another long year ahead for the Eels this year. Broncos were pretty ordinary tonight and still won in a canter. Parra looked devoid of ideas.

Parra are yuk. Just totally yuk.

They lack talent in a serious way, but how can they be so poorly prepared and drilled? Its not like the Broncs were playing them off the park.

They are going to cop some hidings this year the Eels. They are a basket case of a club at the mo.

And almost the exact opposite of what you were saying before you lost him...

I think you're being very kind, I thought they played pretty poorly

They had some chances in the opposition half but had a couple of knockons/dropped balls. Also they were not moving up to the player with the ball unlike the first half.

so BM, it took you until you LOST Sandow for you realize what he really was as a player?

but whilst he was at your club he was the greatest halfback in the comp, that is what is wrong with you, everyone has bias but your bias gets in the way of what is really happening

Only saw about 10mins but Parra seem to be short a 9 and some strike power in there edge backrowers. Could probably do with another big beefy prop as well, but who couldnt.

Lol@50uff$ fans coming out of the woodwork putting down Sandow. Here's a tip bunniesforeskin: Sandow > Sutton.

I never said he was the best in the comp. Obviously you get behind your own players as much as possible but I criticized him after he'd lead us to a loss. And on more than one occasion I said he'd have been dropped for Reynolds if Reynolds didn't get injured last year. And that was while he was still a Souths player.

lol @ eels without hayne

lol @ the haters

One game in the wet without our best player and we struggle to score points. Take Hodges out of the Broncos and it would've been the same story.
