Incredibly frustrating that we didn't capitalise late in the half. We were all over them those last 5-10 minutes.

After an up and down first 30 we were starting to click into gear. Burgess and Inglis are looking very very very good. At their best they are top 5 players in the game. If they stay fit the whole year we will be a contender.

As for this game our class was starting to show towards the end of the half, we are better than them. If we play at our best in the 2nd half we will win. Fingers crossed our momentum carries over.

Sounds like a pretty typical first round match going on radio commentary. Some good hits, passages of reasonable play flanked by a general lack of polish.

The battle for the wooden spoon was played on Saturday night, Panthers vs Bulldogs.

Sorry mate, don't be asshurt. Dogs defense was outstanding, no chance for the spoon. Already 2 points down from round 1.

These 2 are making it bluntly obvious they are sure a chance.

Both are fairly evenly matched. Neither will make an impact this year though. 10-14 place finish for both teams.

The Panthers attack will make any teams defence look good. The dragons will smash your sorry excuse of a team next week.

Bla bla bla. Your attack was pretty useless and the knights were pathetic for 65 minutes of the game. Still should of won. Not the dragons that were 3 years ago. thats for sure. your reign is over. Get over it.

I tipped the roosters, the useless pricks better learn to catch. Surely they can at least beat souths.

Not that either team is playing well tonight, but I can't think of 9-13 teams that played better this weekend.

Pretty standard round 1 game so far
