I think the Roosters have been the better team, and Souths only finished strongly due to a massive incorrect penalty that changed the momentum.

The next 20 minutes are crucial. Roosters score first and I think they go on with it and win well. Souths score first and it'll be close till the finish.

Incredibly frustrating that we didn't capitalise late in the half. We were all over them those last 5-10 minutes.

After an up and down first 30 we were starting to click into gear. Burgess and Inglis are looking very very very good. At their best they are top 5 players in the game. If they stay fit the whole year we will be a contender.

As for this game our class was starting to show towards the end of the half, we are better than them. If we play at our best in the 2nd half we will win. Fingers crossed our momentum carries over.

There are different standards for each team here. There was a blatant second effort in the tackle before the Burgess strip, if it were the other way round there's no doubt we'd see a penalty.
