He should be straight back in Tighe was hopeless yet again. Jennings shouldn't be punished and used as a tool to motivate other players

Mitch Rein will be in reggies next week after the trash he served up tonight. Single handedly blew the game for the Dragons. One the worst performances by anyone this year.

49 tackles, line break, try, 3 tackle breaks, 4 one on one tackles, an offload and 30m gained.

Sure was the worst performance of the year!

Well done Pennies. Deserved to win.

Just saw the Press Conference.

Steve Price is moving, not into the orbit of Furner, but certainly in to the same galaxy.

Pull your socks up Steven.

You didn't see him go down the short side twenty metres out with less than a minute to go while Hornby was screaming at him for the ball to take the shot at goal?

You didn't see him come in late and give away a penalty that gave Penrith field position? In the crunch he was f**king trash. The crunch is when it matters.

It wasn't pretty but it was a win and we showed a lot grit, determination an guts to get it despite the best efforts of the referees to gift it to the opposition. Absolutely pathetic refereeing.

I for one have under estimated sowards effect on the dragons. I still think he has some huge floors in his game (mainly running to the line ) but without his booming last tackle kicks saints seemed lost, particularly in the first half. For the last 3 years they have consistently started a defensive set from inside the opposition 20, with the opposition forwards taking longer to get back for a hit up. Obviously this then leads to them getting the ball in better field position then most.

This was sorely missed tonight. He is a difficult one Soward, without Boyd there (who was saints main play maker) him and Hornby have been exposed. However they clearly can't do without his kicking game. Maybe they need to try something like 6. Stanley 7. Soward 9. Hornby?

The refs were disgraceful. Dragons were laying all over the ruck all night. How we got blitzed on the count I have no idea.

Enormous improvement from us tonight though. Our line speed was fantastic until the penalties and fatigue took it's toll. We fired up big time, and even when were out on our feet found enough to hold on and take our opportunity. Grant was immense, Coote very good and Mansour awesome. Haven't had anything to cheer about for a while so that's pretty satisfying.

Mate you guys were all over us in the ruck just as much, and your players were holding us down as we made the tackles.
Ref's were pathetic for both sides.

Saints didn't deserve to win.
We are a disgrace, and are close to the worst team in the comp at the moment. I would have been more than happy to walk away with a draw.

The refs were pathetic, but they heavily favored the Dragons. Even a few Dragons supporters in here have admitted as much. The refereeing in that second half was nearly all one sided and there were plenty of blatantly obvious infringements by the Dragons that should have penalized and were ignored. Meanwhile just about every time the Dragons started a set in their own 20, they would receive a penalty for some random reason to march them down field.

There's no way the Dragons deserved a draw tonight. Panthers were the better team for 65 minutes and it was only penalties awarding field position and possession to the Dragons that changed that. Panthers are far from a great side, but they were atleast fully committed for the entire game. If we lost that game I would have been pissed at the refs, but proud of the performance.

it was a crap game all round. poor quality and two poor teams. im more critical of the dragons because i expect more of my team. but objectively.. both these teams will struggle to get a sniff of the finals.

Penrith good, we were tripe. They showed some grit and determination, made us play from behind and kept the fight up to us. We couldn't respond in kind well enough.
I think it would have been somwhat of an injustice had we won.
Mansour (sp) looks very, very good. All the Pennies back three were good in fact. In fact so were the centres, and halves, oh and the forwards too.
On Mitch, did some good things and some not so good things. He's young, he'll learn. Definitely living in Overreactionsville calling for his dropping.

The morning after and still can't believe what a special fight of a game that was. The refs were shocking for both sides, but they also pinned the panthers alot for inside the 10. There's nothing the dragons can do about that, it was enthusiasm gone wrong. Congrats to the penny pants, you were by far the better of two utter crap teams. The only positive as a saints fan was watching Merrin.

We now have two first grade quality wingers, with Jennings and Gordon back we may be able to fill out a whole first grade quality back line.

Could see this result coming after the first 10 minutes.. pennies were raring to go and we were just rubbish from the start. Very lucky to get it into GP (which we never win) and it could have been a lot worse early on if Jennings was playing. The Cowboys loss I can cop, but even without Soward we should be winning these games.
Weyman injured now and with Scott gone for an extended period too, we desperately need some wins during the rep season to be any chance of even making the 8.

Some good panthers fans on here, congrats on the win-that was a bloody gutsy effort and just reward for the fans who have had to sit through a tough season so far.
